If my date folds his lettuce leaves and eats them one at a time.... then I know for sure he's not interested in me.... he's probably more interested in my brother.

Alot of these manners seem superficial... just done be sloppy and have fun . You can be respectful yet yourself simultaneously

This is old school proper etiquette that I have personally never seen any regular person do. Is my date going to be do this too??? Cause if not than who’s on trial here, just me!!!

The first time I knew I loved her we were eating bbq ribs. Sauce on her face...she used a bread roll as a napkin, ate the roll, and ordered us a pitcher. Been married for years. That's my boo.

Nice advices but people should be more spontaneous, not programed to do what is allowed and what not. Do not be artificial. No one is perfect. That is point. 😊

Love it! Finally a video that gets to the point regarding manners WITH live examples! Even though I enjoyed the napkin folding, I was a bit disappointed it took up half the video. I would have much rather seen more of the first half manners examples all the way through. These should be two separate videos.

I tried to be cautious within first half a year with my future spouse when we were dating. But I knew I won't be able to pretend to be better than I was, so gradually I started to relax and be more casual. 🤔 I think it made me like him more, bc you feel free and that's an amazing feeling

I was raised with these table manners, I thought everyone ate like this. And our dining table is always set. I just don't know anything about the handkerchief folding. We have candles on our table. And gold place mats, nothing expensive, you could purchase them at the dollar tree. I don't fold my salad though just take smaller bites. Now after reading some of the comments I feel weird. 😆. Now, I understand why my cousin was like, " You still eat the same way". To be honest I thought I was a messy eater. I'm very expressive in everything I do. 😆 I don't know what I look like when I eat. I'm just happy to be eating 😌. 😆 🤣 Gosh I'm so greedy. I just love food!

Thank you. But in my family tradition we should leave nothing in the plate. Throwing away a part of your food for style is a sign of lack of respect for the nature which produced it, and for people who cooked it🤷🏾. It was "take what you can finish" even if it means going to the main table 3 times.
