Also I’ve read that with those plastic water bottles, they sit in hot trucks and the plastics in it leach out into the bottle. Which is so bad for your body and hormones!

They make a Heinz ketchup that is labeled “Simply.” It doesn’t have high fructose corn syrup in it. Walmarts organic house brand is a great inexpensive option too.

One thing I want to mention is clothing with harmful fabrics. Polyester etc. I notice my body itches like crazy. Cotton and linen is really good for us. Our bodies consume what is on our skin. In case anyone struggles with eczema just a heads up

Screen time is a biggy for me so now I try to limit my screen time to 30 minutes a day. Been working for me so far! 😊

Part two please 😊do you have any recommendations for a lip balm (without glossy shine) and how many reusable period undies last for a cycle? I’m wondering how many to purchase, finally going to try them out. Thank you kyra!

a big selfcare thing that I do is walking, and it's also really good for my dog too, because just like humans exercise helps his brain and body too, I try to do a long walk everyday (even in the winter) and it's honestly been amazing for my mental health and physical health too. also, usually when I walk, it helps me be more productive and make better choices as well which leads to more self care :) and its free so YAY i don't do any beauty services . I do my own toes about once a month and it looks just as a good as a salon would do. I keep my nails clean and natural, and I don't dye my hair or do botox, eye lashes, or anything, I will trim my own hair and put layers in every 4 months or so. I do occasionally wear make up for my job it just helps me feel a little more professional and feel less of an imposter for my job (haha), but the cost is not a lot and since I don't do anything else, I don't mind spending $30 every three months on new makeup (repurchases of things that I like, mostly from ELF brand which is v&cf). my sister on the other hand will spend 800 every 6 months on her hair, she does tanning, nails once a week or every other week, lash extensions, It's insane I been trying to tell her she doesnt need all that but she insists that she enjoys it and makes her feel better 😔which I am glad she feels that way, I just wish she could feel great without having to do all that and spend all that money, and she definitely would benefit from saving some money.

What a great video! Love the part about self care. As a busy mom I usually neglect myself. Also screen time is a big problem for me. I would almost say I have a phone addiction. That’s something I want to work on in the upcoming year. Please make more of these! ❤❤❤

Such good suggestions Kyra! Thanks for the videos ❤ I also don’t do my nails anymore unless it’s a special occasion randomly, in the summer I get my feet done but it’s not necessary like you said

I’m in Jersey & plastic bags are outlawed here, too. I’m super grateful for that, but it’s hilarious when I forget my bags & have to put all my groceries in the trunk & bag them up when I get home 😅 most places here don’t even carry the paper bags anymore they just sell the plastic totes & I have way too many already. I gotta get in a better habit of keeping my bags in the car lol.

You are amazing and unique. I wish you would stop the disclaimers, I feel like it highlights the negativity. Instead maybe shouting out longterm subscribers or positive comments might help with your mindset and the overall vibe of the channel. This is absolutely just a suggestion, just want to repay you for all you've done for me over the past few years.
