I have been trying to find an MMO to get into for years. Ive played ESO and WOW extensively but never really got into the lore or quests. My best friend showed me this game and it really intrigued me. I started playing last week and easily have about 30 hours played now.

Swtor really is a phenomenal game. I spent countless hours playing it! If you're still looking for another game, tri guild wars 2! I've also spent countless hours playing that game! Great community, free, beautiful graphics, fluid movement and fighting, and a really wonderful world and story!

Joining a guild is number 1 for sure! The people in my guild helped me every time I had a question or needed help. They also helped get me into group content and doing Flashpoints together!

Khem'val is my favourite companion and having him as a healer is the funniest thing ever. I will always love this game for allowing me to do that.

Also, if you have a farming character, stealth lets you get through dailies etc MUCH faster

My personal tip: Create a personality for your characters. It doesn't have to be massively advanced, but enough that you're choices in cutscenes are constant through the history all the way, and it makes it feel more immersive. You can also begin as one personality and slowly change as the story progresses. For example, My Imperial Agent is utterly loyal to the Empire, but dislike the interference from the Sith. So on every chance my agent gets, they will mess with the Sith unless it damages the Empire as well. But as the story changes, my agent begins to develop a disillusion with the current Empire because of 'events'. Although they remain loyal to the Empire even after those 'events', my agent is less inclined to accept everything they now say. Also, don't let your companions dictate your character's choices. It will only force you to zigzag your answers and make the story a total mess. Stick with the personality you've created and have fun.

I have been an on and off again player since launch. Never been in a guild. I did my first world boss fight recently and most of the guys were from Don't Take the Sky From Me. I have also seen planets controlled by them. My plan either today or this weekend is to see about joining them. Glad to see you mention them in this video. What is the difference between them and Land?

Burn the land and boil the sea is their guild on the imperial side. Although the guild does host content on both republic and imperial side, the majority of the members prefer playing on republic side.

_SWtOR_ MBTI and Berens Chart. Trooper/Hunter: xSTx. Ruthless and greedy at worst, law-abiding and honorable at best. Knight/Warrior: xSFx. At worst, arrogant and violent; at best, diligent and life-respecting. Consular/Inquisitor: xNxJ. The worst are mad with power, but the best are wise and subtly healing. Smuggler/Agent: xNxP. Gluttonous and belligerent at worst, fun and problem-solving at best. The next two charts after this will assume all healthy characters are Light-sided. LS Pubs work towards process while LS Imps head towards goals. For the Republic side, this translates to either the parent (second) function or the inferior (fourth) function possessing the Feeling preference for moral decision-making like warriors. For the Empire, this communicates toward the parent or inferior function possessing the Thinking preference for morals like soldiers. Conscious Ommision: Motive-focus (NF & SP) and Structure-focus; the former is female and the latter is male because females don't feel the biological need to distinguish themselves from their mothers while males do. In order of recommended story order: Bounty Hunter: ESTP/ISTJ. Trooper: ISTP/ESTJ. Sith Inquisitor: ENFJ/INTJ. Jedi Knight: ESFP/ISFJ. Sith Warrior: ISFP/ESFJ. Jedi Consular: INFJ/ENTJ. Imperial Agent: INFP/ENTP. Smuggler: ENFP/INTP. Races: ★ *Bounty Hunter:* Rattataki (he/she has a unique dialogue in a Belsavis side quest) or Zabrak (can give the Hunter a roleplay reason to play Light Side). * *Trooper:* Mirialan (no bonus dialogues, but creates a foil with two antagonistic Mirialans), Human (especially if you make him or her resemble an Echani to better foil the Bounty Hunter), or Zabrak (unique dialogue during a conversation with your first companion). ★ *Sith Inquisitor:* Human (creates a thematic foil to the Sith Warrior and a companion makes a reference to an "oddly pro-alien" Sith Lord). * *Jedi Knight:* Miraluka (the most lightsaber-centric species in _Star Wars_ and has bonus dialogue with the final boss on Alderaan). ★ *Sith Warrior:* Pureblood or Zabrak (The Sith Warrior is mentioned to have a Sith heritage, so either species can fit; plus, being repeatedly called a "brute" makes it believable that you never get called "alien" by NPCs). * *Jedi Consular:* Zabrak (best justifies his or her apparently quick recovery after healing and gives a roleplay reason for acting like a warrior around the first companion), Twi'lek (can make the diplomacy on the introductory planet make a little sense, albeit with no unique dialogue), or Mirialan (can make sense with the class; there's supposed to be unique dialogue with a Mirialan Padawan on the last story planet, but it isn't there in the final product). ★ *Imperial Agent:* Chiss (the entire class revolves around being a Chiss). * *Smuggler:* Twi'lek (it just fits the Smuggler, plus, if the male is a shade of blue (one of which is Pub-exclusive), he manages to make one of the dialogues in the _Heist of the Millennium_ quest funnier; for contrast, one can make the female red or yellow if one wishes). Combat Styles and Echani vs Mandalorian: The Echani favor lighter and/or more flexible armor along with communication through combat and stance while the Mandalorians favor heavy armor while dueling to test themselves against the best. Since the Trooper's armor is specifically designed for maximum flexibility and the Bounty Hunter's weaponry are highly favored by the Mandalorians, their respective original advanced classes, the Vanguard & the Commando and the Powertech & the Mercenary, will be Echani and Mandalorian respectively. *Echani:* Assassin, Sentinel, Marauder, Shadow, Operative, and Gunslinger. *Mandalorian:* Sorcerer*, Guardian, Juggernaut, Sage*, Sniper, and Scoundrel. *Note: the Sorcerer and the Sage are listed as *"Mandalorian"* because, in the Bounty Hunter's story on Hoth, there is a character with the Sith Sorcerer model who challenges the player to an honorable Blooding and it's considered a Light Side action to accept it.

Not really, you can go inter your user interface settings and make it a little bit bigger, but probably not as large as you'd like

Well, if you're already a preferred player, there is no real big rush to subscribe before the next major expansion comes out in December. Unless you want to start playing operations or ranked PvP as that requires a sub. As a subscriber you get around 500-600 free cartel coins per month (depends on the sub)
