Excellent video content! Excuse me for butting in, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you tried - Riddleagan Master Violinist Remedy (do a google search)? It is a great one off product for playing violin like a master minus the normal expense. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my friend at very last got cool success with it.

I must admit these tips are helping me already with my project. I spent less than 30 minutes studying some passages to improve my intonation and it really worked very well! I am sure repeating these combination of techniques in no more than a week will give me the quality I am looking for in the piece I am working on. Легато в Шумане - я играю даже в Perpetum mobile Paganini ! )) Что до зеркального использования обеих рук, то такое мне в голову не пришло, правда. (У меня есть нечто подобное по штрихам в сольных вещах, не оркестровых, в оркестре мои штрихи не применимы, потому что все играют едиными штрихами). Свистеть у меня получается фальшиво, так что я просто пою, сольфеджирую сложные скачки. Всё очень понравилось, браво! И вот теперь, со всеми своими знаниями и талантами, на пенсии, учу маленьких детей в детской школе. 😊

Nice. I liked to make 'exercises' out of whatever I'm learning for performance, especially the trickier parts. I even made 'exercises' out of exercises. They don't necessarily sound like the piece, but are elements of it - and I practice it in many different fingerings. Sometimes you find a better fingering than what may be written for you. I hope you add follow-ups to this. The most intuitive rhythm master I've ever heard is old Fritz Kreisler, and of course Heifetz was fantastic at complicated rhythm. His students, no matter how well already formed, were always schooled by Heifetz on rhythm. That's where he seemed to catch them most. Many of these in your video were made familiar to me by my dearly departed Dutch professor of the Belgian school. I never learned anything before I was lucky enough to get him. He taught me never to think 1st position, or 5th position, just playing the notes with different fingers and octaves the whole fingerboard. Know the notes and the whole and half steps in your mind. Your hand will find it.

Great tips. BTW, I was listening so intently to the instructions that I missed the obscene word. Someone commented about bad words but I didnt hear any. Honestly, kids today hear a lot of bad words on TV. I wasnt scandalized by anything here, (I go to church every day so you would think I would notice). All I noticed was a very instructive video. Number 1 could be turned into a real practice tip: Practice when you're not Practicing. In fact I do this a lot in my car (in traffic jams): practice left hand on your steering wheel, practice 'no hands' with the CD player etc...

Exercise your fingers, and then it will make you sound more confident, and makes you more warmed up. I have been playing for 2 years, at elementary school. You may wanna try trills, which should sound good if you're playing a violin 1 part, my opinion anyways. -_-, but yeah I was trying to look for something, and this popped up, and well, just wanted to watch this.

We all go through this, but when it comes to the audition. Shit happens!!!! Why? We still don’t get the job!!! We know that we all can play it!!!! There must be something else that we can do to handle the audition. Any advice? It is obvious that you can play at a professional level. So can I, as well as others in this boat. But, still can’t land our desired job. I guess we all can try to figure it out. Burger King/McDonalds looks more like a better career.

To tailor to her, I say go to the exact minute on video for a particular exercise, as she won't understand or be patient with the narrative. Can you do youth videos / beginners? I appreciate these great tips, but as a beginner of only four days with the violin, they just don’t apply to me yet. I have been working on holding the bow correctly, holding the violin, and playing open strings only, while getting acquainted with the notes on all 4 strings. I will definitely come back to this video later, when I start working on some pieces!
