With the llamas and donkeys you could have more storage by putting in shulkers inside and enderchest and put it in the chest on the donkey or llama and fill the rest of space with more shulkers. You’ll end up having more space with the bundles.

you can also store things with baby piglins. They have 8 inventory slots, and can pick up and drop any item. Adult piglins only pick up gold related items, and porkchops. They drop these items if they have them, aside from gold ingots, and either kind of porkchops.

For that last one, you could use it for Shulker Box storage to maximise efficiency, and, if it is for a singular block, use that block behind the Item Frame/Shulker.

For the last storage system, You can put prizes like diamonds, gold, emerald, etc. Then put a barrier, and make a hole. If your on multiplayer, Invite some people and see if they can shoot their own prizes with a crossbow.

actually the side account for storage thing is pretty genius! Since it doubles your enderchest space and you could easily fill your second account's inventory and ender chest with shulker boxes and have it leave the game afterward, giving those items perfect security as long as the admins don't ban you for it.

2:45 the BEST use for hoppers as a chest is that it won't aggro Piglin, where almost all other storage upset them once "updated". It's only 5 slots, but it's better than nothing. Just make a wall of hoppers(near the portal/piglin) that go into each other to stop them from draining, which is good for storing gold ingots for the "transactions", lol. Or just make a portal-based "gold farm" that links to a busy piglin area in the nether.

Barrels are useful if you looking for a storage container which is also a solid block, but can not be triggered. You can put Redstone on a barrel, but you can't put it on a chest. I don't have any other usecase

Of anything it's better to use a mule or donkey, they can always carry 15 items, and a lamma has a 0.8% chance of having 15 slots, so I suggest you use a mule, or donkey.
