17 Worst Pickup Trucks That Every American Hates
In the United States, pickup trucks rule the roads. When worries about how far a truck could go on a gallon of gas eased up in the early 2000s, these powerful vehicles became super popular again.
Here are some of the absolute worst pickup trucks you'll definitely want to steer clear of.

I hate to say how wrong the author is but there's no such thing as a Pinto pickup. It's something someone built as a one-off

This guy talked about a Chevrolet S10 pickup, however the pickup shown in the video was a full size C series Chevy truck. Also when he discussed the Ford courier he didn't even mention that that was a Mazda built pickup truck. He also talked about the 1973 model Chevy suburbans but the suburban shown was from the early 2000s.

The Suburban was not a pick up. It was more of a SUV. This was the same for the Yukon.

I used to own an 82 Rampage and I absolutely loved it!!! It was a great little truck and got some serious fuel mileage. I'd buy another one in a heartbeat. I loved the looks of the old Chevy LUV trucks too.

I like most of these vehicles. never seen or knew of the LUV. Most cars from the 70's were poorly built, they just got worse, in the 80's and 90's. All cars, most except for a couple are poorly and cheaply built. Especially the EV's today.

You missed the Ford 6.0L turbo diesel. Our fleet had to start using them when the EPA outlawed the 7.3. My coworkers had them in the garage all the time. To work on the engine you had to remove the fenders and hood. The 7.3 was indestructible

Clearly this is revisionist history. As you have got a lot of your facts incorrect. Ford never built a pinto pickup truck as a production model, maybe this was a concept The white one pictured is the only one ever found an existence. The blazer chalet camper is a k-5 not an S10 and Chevy suburban never built a pickup truck It is an SUV and is the oldest SUV in production beginning in 1935 as the suburban carry-all. This is how you do facts correctly!

Everybody hates the Caballero? it's an El Camino, so yeah, folks love it. Very popular to this day. They made em from 1971-1987, so they must have been on to something. Never as popular as the Chevy version, but GMC never was even with pickups. SSR is quite desirable these days, too. Avalance was sold for over a decade, so folks must have loved them too, see em all the time. 1999 F250? uh.... those are HIGHLY coveted. People pay new truck money for that body style Ford with the power stroke. Power stroke was one of the most reliable diesel engines ever made, what are you smoking? S-10 Blazers were insanely popular, you saw them everywhere back in the day. S-15? uh, again... wildly popular. Saw em everywhere back in the day. If you got a nice Warlock now, you're gonna get $40k+ for it. Suburban? are you serious? Like, have you ever even been to America? In production from 1935 model year-present, it is the longest running automotive name plate in the history of cars. 89 years and counting. The '73-91 were vastly, vastly popular. They were literally EVERYWHERE back in the day. People pay $50k+ for a nice one today. Dude, this video was just click bait.

The Chevrolet/Isuzu LUV was never intended to perform any heavy duty tasks in the first place. If anyone bought this small pick up truck and I would buy one if they still sold them we would know what it could be used for.

pure bullshit. the pinchero was a custom alteration of a pinto wagon. the chevy luv was a great little truck. the dodge rampage was an experiment by chrysler that used the k platform and they were neat little utes. so was the elcamino and ranchero. the dakota was the largest of it's class with the largest available engine for a mid size pickup.

#8...That's not an S-10 Blazer that's shown...it is a FULL SIZE BLAZER...seems to me this guy didn't do his homework on several of these vehicles...just my .25 cents worth and to add the Scout was never built to be a true pick up truck...all in all not a bad video just a few miscues mentioned along the way. Thanks for sharing this as it's cool information for the most part.

i call BS on the suburban. it's the same length as a regular cab with an 8' box or and extended cab with a short box. its also not horrible on fuel considering the size and weight of it. our 2004 gmc yukon xl gets 600-650 km/tank on 117 L in the summer and we do about 90% highway driving. we also have 6 people in our family to haul around. that's just my wife's vehicle. i have a 1995 K2500 turbo diesel and it gets respectable mileage as well.

Most were novelty offerings not intended for someone who wanted a real truck. The ones that were real trucks were just failed models of questionable build quality. a couple were marketing failures. These "trucks" were not hated, just not preferred by the masses.

When did the Suburban become a pickup truck? Apart from rancheros being made starting in 1972, does not explain the Falcon based and Fairlane rancheros in earlier years, facts are totally all wrong,. They're still desirable today. Didn't mention the El Camino was its competitor.
