Saying Neymar is a better dribbler could be a mistake, of course Neymar dribbles more because that is his play style, but if you only count objective dribbling leading to a goal/assist/chance of Goal I would say Estevao is a better dribbler. He is beating all stats that Neymar had at the same age in Brasil, and football in Brazil now is at a much better level. On a skill challenge Neymar would beat Estevao, but on game stats Estevao will deliver more Most likely Estevao will end Brasileirao Serie A as top scorer, top assist, top dribbler, top chances created, potentially champion and best player of the tournament. And we have much better players compared to when Neymar was here. Estevao, Neymar and Messi have something in common which benefits any team, which is attracting 2+ defenders to mark them, just look at any Estevao highlight to see how many people are always around him. It opens up so much space for other players. Estevao is taller, stronger and makes better decision than Neymar. Neymar was definitely faster and had crazy dribbling skills. If both Neymar/Estevao would practice like CR7 they would win multiple Ballon'ro. But I must say, The things that Estevao have that Neymar did not, he could have worked on to improve, if Neymar had worked on becoming a better player: stronger, more objective, etc. he would be better than Estevao, but he chose to be lazy, dribble with no objective and party

Neymar at 17 was much more dynamic & faster than Estevao and probably better on a technical level but Estevao has better playmaking abilities, makes much better decisions on the ball and is physically stronger. I can't wait to see how good Estevao becomes as the years go by.

Estevao's pause and skip pass defenders is actually so good, he's just able to be so direct with and escape really tight spaces. A lot of people here are calling out his playmaking ability for some reason? But he's clearly shown good decision making, and passes into the hold-up player within the stride of his run with the ball which is really useful for one-twos and combinations that shift defences, plus his ball-striking and tendency to move inwards when he has the ball will really mesh well to find players running ahead or the flank when he escapes his press. I personally think he has all the traits of a great number 10 or more advanced playmaker.
