Create a really good hiding place for your money too so no one can find it in your house if you aren't there in it. Buy a lock for your door for at night and when you are away. Safety is important. I'd build a nice sturdy fence with whole solid bamboo posts and not just slats to create a yard for son to play and not roam away from the house.
