1700HP S-10 BREAKS WORLD RECORD

We knew this S-10 was fast, but we didn't know it was WORLD RECORD fast! Nick's S-10 has quite the setup. With it being finished just 6 weeks ago, we knew he may have some complications with his fresh build. He really fought some complications and adapted to overcome them on this outing. He not only did that, he put down the fastest pass for any LS stick shift car IN HISTORY. What a turn of events.

I don't know why that transmission in the red demon qualifies as a stick shift. It's a dogbox with H pattern shifter. Clutch is only used during the launch. Its like shifting auto car with manual valve body . All you do is gas pedal to the floor and move shifter back and forth

You can tell he stays modest so he don't jinx him self. Those s10's have one of the best platforms to build a drag racer out of for some reason. When daddy Dave drove the Sonoma it had about the same HP and it would also stick really well, and when it didn't stick, it was manageable.

Those were some of the most wicked passes I have ever watched. Had he had those shift lights from the jump he very well could have laid down a 7.19 easily.
