Watch the final race all over again, the F-body is walking all over the place at the top end - why? Because it's making more power than it can put down. Most of it is correct setup. That TA is a a big turbo V8 making big power, but don't neglect the 2 speed power glide with a transbrake, custom rear end for drag racing, and tire size and width to maximize getting all the power to the ground for 1320ft. There are max effort 400hp guys running 8s cause they are setup correctly.

Hint hint, cars with dual clutch transmissions have a like 1/2 second or so lag between the driving initiating the launch and the car actually launching.
