Nice hunt. Thanks for sharing!!! Would love to know the history of those round silver broaches? I've dug a bunch of targets down here in Georgia and have never seen one.

Silver Broaches were amongst the most heavily traded items to the natives. The French and English both traded them for furs. They were easy to produce and light to carry. The Ottawa Indians loved to wear lots of silver.

Great to hear the waves in the background. This campsite must have been used by people traveling by canoe along the shore. Great finds. 300 years seems like yesterday.
