Am I the only one feeling good seeing Bill struggle a bit ? Makes you feel better about yourself and your picking :)
@bosnianbill4 жыл бұрын
Jason, Thank you! One of my "goals" is to portray a realistic picking so everyone will know what to expect. Despite many suggestions to do so, I refuse to "practice" picking a lock, memorize the bitting, and pick it fast in a 2 minute video. That wouldn't give viewers an accurate idea of what it is REALLY like to pick up a lock and try to pick it. Yes, it makes me look stupid and slow, but hey, I AM stupid and slow. Just ask my wife.😃

That's pretty legit Bill. You're a good dude for sure.

@@bosnianbill I started watching LPL a long time ago, decided to try my paw at this whole thing. I sure felt like an incompetent bonehead. Thought maybe I should give up because I was taking so long to open some of these locks. I knew LPL was good but he makes it look so easy - I figured I should be able to do far better than I was. Started watching your videos and I feel a lot better about the whole thing now.

I did enjoy watching the silent video but i warch you videos to hear you describe what you are doing. This was a great video to watch and listern to you describe your thought process in how you got the lock open. Thank you for a informative and entertaining channel.

This, Bosnianbill is way more genuine and does not usually do it for the clicks which I appreciate

What do you mean- clicks are super important! He says all the time "I got a click out of 4" or "small click from #2" etc.
@SolarWebsite4 жыл бұрын
Both channels are great in their own way. LPL is maybe a little more polished and scripted, I'll grant you that, but still very enjoyable. /edit/ Also, LPL's April 1st videos are so funny I have no words for it.
@danskifpv4 жыл бұрын
I effing love LPL, don't forget it's easy to get content creator fatigue so I don't begrudge LPL and his redbull can obsession even a little bit. Either watch them or skip them for that day, there's plenty of pickers to choose from while LPL has a mental break
@CephalopodStuff4 жыл бұрын
Honestly I've stopped watching LPL for a while because his videos have started feeling a bit clickbaity. I'd much prefer to see a challenge lock or something rather than a dozen "SuPeR sEcUrE bIkE lOcK sHiMmEd OpEn In 1 SeCoNd!!!!!!"

That could have totally been tensioned from the bottom, someone needs to start designing better tensioners because for some reason they have a million and one picks but only like 2-3 types of tensioners and considering that most of these locks would be a breeze to pick with better adjusted tensioners, they really need to be redesigned.

Bill, love your videos! I have enjoyed the growth of your skills since the early videos. The one thing that keeps nagging me is that while you talk about it from time to time, you don't go into details.. Can you please do a video on the wear & tear on picks, including breaking picks? I'm always afraid I'm putting too much pressure on my picks, but I see how your picks bow slightly with the pressure you're putting on them. Thank you.

David, I don't think "silent" is what ASMR viewers are looking for. I'm not an ASMRer myself, but my impression is they are looking for calming sounds without harsh, loud or jarring interruptions. Personally, I listen to music but can't say that hard rock isn't harsh, loud or jarring....😀
