Really nice kit! Hey Zac I know its completely unrelated to this video, but can you talk about what kind of spraying mask / respirator / filters do you use for spraying gunpla? There isn't a lot of builders talking about it.

Kaspar Lee use heavy duty respirators, from hardware stores if ur ventilation is poor. The type for either “paint odor” or “sanding paint”.... I’m pretty sure both work well.

Nifty note about the beam rifle. It works with the The Origin's Gundam FSD Type. In fact in the debut manga showing off the Gundam FSD. It is armed with the beam rifle that the Origin's Heavy Gundam comes with.

That bit really annoyed me, the FSD debuted with it but Bandai conveniently ignored that and didn't include it in the FSD release and snuck it into this P-Bandai kit to garner more interest cause of the weapons. Really scummy.

REDACTED It was a real let down that the beam rifle wasn't included with the FSD. Same issue in regards to the prototype long rifle you could only get from a Gundam Ace Magazine.

I found the stickers on the ankle guards to be the most problematic. I removed them and used a red gundam marker in their place. The other decals are fine on my copy of the kit.

Oh yeah the shield doesn't come with the Gundam Local Type North America Type,It's the same as the Gundam F.S.D

J Loke Yeah, that’s the great thing about The Origin kits, no painting needed, all they really need is some seam line coverage, nub cleanups and they hardly need panel lining

Zach himself has a really nice review of the MG, it's basically a 2002 RX-78 Variant MG with a million extra pieces and some new parts for the Heavy Gundam.

This model is the "street fighter 2 " version of Bandai. You buy one and a couple of months there is a better version, you buy that and another version with more things come out later.

Yo don't need heavy gundam if you want to made rx 78 origin. Just regular fsd and kit bash it with rx 78 revive is enough

I would Say that round bit on the gun is more ammo or battery, since this is the Heavy Gundam for more combat. The reg Gundam could only fire 16 shots so just guessing that this ones gun holds more ammo. thanks for the great videos!
