I couldn't understand the language but what they're singing is beyond language. The divine sounds they're producing through their sacred mouth and the musical instruments transcends language. This great assembly of people is indeed surpassing even the pompous-vibrant assembly of Indra in Swarg. Gods won't bless these singers, they're the Gods themselves.

I was also singing the pancharathna Krithis on 6th tyagaraja aradhana at thiruvaiyaru! First one of the musicians took the nattai,very slowly(vilambakala)!after looking at the time!varali was in madhyama kala! I am attending the tyagaraja aradhana from 1998! It's not the same as it was to be! nowadays burecrats,local government officials too want to participate, because of media coverage!you can see unknown faces in our musicians row too! internationally famed musicians also looking at the script, singing the gaula(dhuduku)&varali(kanakanaruchira)! When kunnakudi sir was the Secretary,he used to call all the musicians,do at least one rehearsal etc!

Ofcz..it was so notable...that many front line singers were very new, and found inexperienced. Hmm. shall/must make it in the knowledge of DD/&its concerned. The statusco of Thyagarajaradhana must be kept in tradition. Ofcz, as it was👍 I remember, RRM Smt.Nirmala Seetharaman had intervened very immediately about the wrong doing by DD for showing an advt in between pancharatna LIVE. Well, we must be alert...in all the places...(threats on our culture are from all the four sides !!) If not, I'm not afraid to say,...that..it must get stopped by this...with this.

Music for everyone. Even foreigners were reciting this song Even some 50 years back. The trust is headed by shri g k vasan A non brahmin politician. This tradition was started by bangalore nagarathnammal and she is from Devadasi community. The thing is that it requires a lot of discipline and hardwork to master these krithis and perform. Whoever puts up the efforts can come and sing sitting in front. In fact even among brahmins esp. Among millianials this tradition is dying. They are going to u.s europe australia newzealand dubaii singapore and malaysia. 20 years from.now you will see negligible brahmins in these forums like in t N achool college teachers and govt servants. So don't worry. The tradition will of coure will live so long as lord rama and saint thyagaraja wills it and for that bhakhthi should be there not just musical talent.
