Love your work but get annoyed when you ask for donations. Why do you do this when you obviously sell your artwork, get products from the companies you deal with, plus kick backs when you send viewers to these companies, get paid by youtube for ads and art is your passion. Your viewers who care about art have to buy their own supplies I think it's unfair for you to ask for donations when you are getting so much.

You know, your comment is totally off base! I don't have to reply to this nor do I have to explain myself to you or ANYONE else.... HOWEVER, I will just so that you can understand how uneducated your comment really is. You have no idea what you are talking about, and unless you have your own KZbin channel you have no idea how much work it really is. Yes, I sell my artwork.... so what? If I don't sell it, what would I do with it? You are wrong about getting free products from companies, I have gotten some free Arteza paints and some free products from ColourArte but that's all I have ever received for FREE. I buy my own products and materials.. from Floetrol, Canvases, ALL my paints from Michaels, Resin etc etc.. the list goes on and on... I BUY these.. they are not given to me for free as you suggest. I don't understand why you feel the need to lash out. If you don't want to donate to my channel then don't! No one put a gun to your head and forced you. There are kind and generous people out there who are GRATEFUL for the videos I make, and they choose to donate. These videos you are watching are FREE to you.. but I can tell you with certainty they are NOT free for me to make. Not only do the materials cost me money but my TIME is not FREE. It takes hours and hours to record a video, edit a video, upload a video. Then I spend HOURS replying to hundreds of questions.. in emails.. in comments... in private messages.. on FB.. on Instagram etc etc. You have NO CLUE what it takes to run a KZbin channel!! So yes, I do ask for donations.. it's these donations that help me run my channel.. people don't have to donate, they choose to do so on their own. So the next time you decide to start typing a comment to me or any other KZbin artist out here, THINK first.. unless you are IN OUR SHOES you have NO CLUE!!

Kanella Ciraco Art Thank you for addressing this. I will admit, I have been curious and sadly was under the same thinking this viewer was. However, you taking time to explain things makes complete sense. I admire you for your drive, talent, and commitment to your passion. I hope you are staying safe and healthy. I apologize for not realizing all of the things you explained before, but I am thankful you took the time to respond and help people understand. Take care.

Judy, one thing to consider is other KZbin artists don’t take time to teach the way Mrs. Ciraco does. They simply show it, rely on people liking their accent, and then post their links for donations, Mrs. Ciraco continues to educate, experiment, and share the good and bad..l I appreciate that because I am learning as well and it is nice to know, we all really do mess up. Take care.

Love how this one came out too! Also, I just made my first ever Dutch pour last night! March is my birthday month, and instead of buying myself a gift or going out to eat a bunch of times, I decided to make a painting every week of March. Just wanted to say thank you for all these videos and for the inspiration. It was so much fun! Can't wait to play with paint some more.

I love your paintings too. They make me think of irises with their colors and vibrance. This is a thought, going along with Kathy Johnson's idea of using greens. When you get off center a bit, use a little green and go to the excess white area with it. Then blow it out to make it look like a stem of a flower.

Definitely gotta try your technique. I am just now experimenting with this type of medium. I mostly do fine art oil and acrylic painting (realism). And your 'flowers' look like they were done in watercolors. Fabulous! I hope you make lots of money on them (if you sell them) and I hope you do! Have you ever considered making prints from these 'originals'' and selling them in the card or calendar departments?

another varnish video? not sure why I would do another.. it would be the same as the first one...lol
@karencornell65504 жыл бұрын
FYI I had a revelation about the varnish. After a lot more research I found that if you live in a dry climate your varnish can dry to fast and streak. It said add floetrol to the water based varnish. I believe it is going to help. I have to experiment with the amount of floetrol more but already I see a difference. I live in southern NM close to the Mexico border. To say it is dry is putting it mildly. I am so excited that this issue may have an answer and I can get back to pouring.

@vickiberry73024 жыл бұрын
Aahhh, ok, lol. Well I was close, thank you for clearing that up for me, and again, I thank you for your videos. Please don't stop. I look forward to them everyday. I must share my feelings on the ignortant comments of those complaining that you ask (occasionally) for donations. The service you provide is not only FREE... but explained in a way easily understood. I for one truly appreciate the time and effort you put into the videos and the endless hours of prep work that goes unnoticed. Your approach and Deliverance of this information is extremely professional yet friendly you are sweet, funny and adorable and I for one enjoy hearing about your dogs your children and your life, as chaotic as it is for you it's something I'll never have so I could at least see it unfolding in someone else's life. I treasure the time you devote to new artists such as myself. I think one of the reasons I gravitate to you on top of that is I too am an x cake decorator. I chose that profession because I love creating things that make people happy and since I can't do that anymore I'm trying my hand at this. SO please please do not let those who have no clue and have to much time on their hands that think it's productive to assume something and put someone down rather than just ask a simple question to someone who does so much good. Please don't let them discourage you. You even went to the effort to time stamp your videos so someone could fast forward to you parts that they wanted to watch. I'm so sorry can I let you have to waste so much time defending yourself when you've only tried to help do good. I personally watch and rewatch the whole thing numerous times but I do understand there are times when ya just need to get to review a particular step in the process and move on however I will never understand how people can be so cruel and hateful to make comments that would make someone feel like they're doing something wrong when they give so much when they could be charging for that information. I'm sorry for my rambling I saw all the comments and I know this is just a small handful of what you apparently have to put up with just know that there are by far more of us who love you and appreciate you and look forward to your guidance than there are those who choose to be not so nice. I look at you not only as my teacher but as a dear friend, so thank you Kanella. Again please keep in being you. I'm so grateful I have been blessed by finding you. You're amazing. 💜💯
