An AMAZING bathroom located in the Frazer Hall at SUNY Geneseo, built 1953. The fixtures are two Instanto toilets and an Expello urinal, plus a replacement Kohler Dexter

Nice find! It's amazing that American Standard / "Standard" (and a few other brand names, some now defunct) terlit and urinal fixtures from 70 - 100+ years ago are still going strong today, provided they are maintained. Strong testament to the engineering that went into them, including the ability to flush in conditions requiring less water today, when than wasn't a thing back then. These fixtures could easily go another 100 years. Too bad they had to stick a Kohler urinal in a AS rest room. I reckon AS didn't have a suitable flushing urinal then and they didn't want to scout around for a used exact replacement.

Both the urinals have since been replaced but the toilets remain. I agree!

They could have lowered the Kohler urinal, but it looks like they wanted to keep the same drain line alignment that was there for the American Standard fixture. The mount holes were changed for sure.

Awesome fixtures with the exception of the Dexter. That Dexter has a horrible setup though, should have been placed lower.
