FitnessGoals! I think she literally is only attracted to Kate. It does happen. Where a women gets a shock an happens to fall for a women. But its just one women. Look at Sian it was only Sophie. You didn't see her attracted to anyone but Sophie. I don't even remember her saying she was gay/ bi. Just that she was in love with Sophie. Dang it they need to bring her back. I'm still so bitter about her an Sophie. I hope they treat this storyline better.

FitnessGoats! Rana or anyone like Rana shouldn't needs to label themselves something cause someone else sees it as something different. Right now she feels like she can't say she's bi or gay cause she's only interested in Kate. It happens. Question if a women only been with men her whole life up until 20years of age. Falls in love with a women an never dates are feels anything similar to what she feels for women with men. Calls herself a lesbian. She's wrong? Your logic would than mean that her only true label would be bi. Most of human kind have all been with the opposite sex. So to judge Rana on this one time when she has fallen for a women. Would be just as silly as assume everyone on earth is straight. On another note your assume she would have another Kate. What if she never again is with another women after Kate. That's my point. You can't base her whole preference off of one encounter. You can see the pure shock in her having feelings for Kate. So you can assume she's never had feelings for women before its just Kate. That's not homophobia. That's just pure how the heck is this happening to her. She's scared but I hate the term internalized homophobia. All new things come with some fears you have to work through. So where are all the internalized phobias than. Example. Fears that come with a new relationship. What's that phobia called?

FitnessGoals I would def agree Rana is confused a bit. That we agree on. When your searching for love/dating.You go first I'm looking for whatever gender it is that your attracted to. Its what we all do. We don't go oh hmm I like the person at the bar because they are a,b,c characteristics. We go he or she is attractive to me I'm going to go talk to him or her. That's how it starts. So you are attracted to one gender if your straight/gay. An both if your Bi. Apply that to this Rana she would go looking for men not women. Shes not attracted to women. Look she was with Sophie tipsy. An didn't try her supposed curiosity for liking women. She went right to Kate who she is interested in who happens to be a women. Its different. Rana attraction to Kate isn't because she is a women. Its because of Kate the person. That's the difference here. Its not like she just met Kate. She known Kate awhile now. An just recently started having feelings for Kate. So where was her liking women the other part of her an Kate's friendship. Btw what's the problem with her not wanting to label herself something she herself isn't sure of yet?

FitnessGoals! That's your logic. No they aren't attracted to every men or everyone women. Your proven my point that there is someone special out there for everyone. An just because your straight an you end up with someone of the same sex once in your life doesn't make you anything either. You are what you are. There is no need to label it at all. I have know plenty of people who consider themselves straight. But fall in love at one point with the same sex. It didn't work an that was it for them. They literally said exactly what Rana said. That they were attracted to them only them. An it wasn't their gender. It was just how they made them feel. An I asked them so your attracted to the same sex also. They all said no it was that one time an it wasn't their gender. It was them as a person they were drawn to. An a couple of them cheated because they couldn't get pass how much they wanted the opposite sex. An the others just fell out of love with the one person they were once in love with. It happens. Its not some foreign concept. Like I get it you want her to bi. An maybe she will end up feeling comfortable with that label on her own after the confusion is over. But if she doesn't feel bi/gay you me nor anyone else can say no your wrong. That's you feeling entitled to put a label on someone that it doesn't fit comfortably.

FitnessGoals! To me they write things like this cause it happens. We an I mean this for everyone. We don't know who we will fall in love with. So to me labeling something that is so flexible an uncertain is ridiculous. You know how many times I heard someone has changed what they label themselves. You in away do think she's a certain label. If you hadn't you would have already said I totally understand what you mean. You were disappointed at the fact she said she wasn't gay or bi. Why? Why the exclusion of pansexual. "Only you" has been written for straight couples. Soulmate TM anyone. The only difference with them is its not so confusing because it is between their personal preference. Maybe it is cliche. It is relatable. Especially to those that feel like Rana.
