No matter how long you may have lived somewhere or how fluent you are with the language, most people still connect to their native language on such a deeper level, and I think it really allows them to show their true selves to the fans even more.

So true! Pledis probably have the best treatment to chinese member (in SVT). They let them go home for several months after the Covid became better. They let them have some solo activities and make their own content. Truly.. Thank you pledis !

I really think this has something to do with their contract renewal. Pledis treatment (including HYBE involvement in SVT) seems to be a lot better after their contract renewal. I think the thirteen of them talking to the company together is the best decision they made

This brings back such nostalgia from Jun's first release up until Silent Boarding Gate! At a certain point I've remembered watching him singing Cherry Blossom Ending and falling for him completely. I won't ever sleep on this man's talent. I swear to god Jun is a gem. He has a sweet voice, he is an amazing dancer, he's up there being a top level performer... I feel a bit disappointed that it took almost 7 years and a different concept for carats to finally appreciate him in a comeback, but I hope as they said this was a new start, this is as well a new start for Jun to be finally recognized and appreciated as he deserves.

This is really the best thing Pledis and Seventeen ever let Jun tries to do his best, after Chiao Yi Zhan Ji and Exclusive Fairy Tale. Thank you very much for always let him flourish his skills and taking good care of him all this time. From the weird, dork, and awkward Jun, to the Jun nowadays. Thank you for letting him speaking in his mother language. I know the sentiment betwen China and South Korean going on from the history to today. I search for it for my novel research though. I remember how SM Entertainment (especially EXO-L and NCTzen, even Pentagon fans) stan bash us last year, saying Junhui and Minghao won't ever comeback. Eventhough they renew their contract, but they'll just promote in China and finally... they'lll got nothing from the group (Seventeen). But Pledis and Seventeen's members keep giving us reassurance that Jun and Minghao deserve to meet their family and do activities in their home land. But really, Pledis should be the role model of agency who never really differentiate just because of races and nationality. I mean, if Jun and Minhao are bad people, it's no wonder if they got pushed back. But all I see from the Kpop Industry, usually the agency always pushed back foreigners especially Chinese and Japanese. Though, they never did bad things... but they have to bear the responsibility of their countrymen who did dirty to Korean Citizen. I don't know how things are behind the stage, but I know the countless times how Junhui and Minghao always receive special stage like dancing, duet, or even playing piano on stage performance. I remember when Jun become the center for Clap, a very significant moment in Jun's career history. I remember Minghao's solo stage in GDA for Fearless. I remember Jun and Minghao's epic performance of My I on Gaon Chart back in 2018 just like yesterday. Hopefully, Pledis will keep striving to become the agency who never differentiate their artist just because of their nationality and the things they don't do (cruel acts by fellow countrymen). Despite how I don't like Pledis especially in After School, Nu'est, and Pristin's cases, but I madly respect the things they did for their foreigners idols.

I still can't believe that 'Dream' isn't as recognized as I had expected it to be before I joined the fandom (T.T ). It was my comfort song and I used to have a hard time sleeping without listening to it. During those times, I wasn't even a Carat, but the atmosphere Jun's voice brings in the song always helped me through. I hope people would stop neglecting his talents, ofc his visuals is mind-blowing but so is his voice!!
