I'm 51 and just within the last two years while remote camping, I've had enough terrifying things happen that I will NEVER stay in a Tent again. I've been in the woods since I was five, but just in recent times, something is different now. I van camp now and last year it was attacked which left scratches all over it, including across the luggage rack up top. I have photo's of it, as well as video. I never went from a dead sleep in my underwear to the driver seat so fast in my life. I started the van, threw it in gear & got the hell out of my campsite. Whatever it was, it wanted in my Van desperately. If I were in a tent,...I wouldn't be here typing this comment right now. Stay safe out there, Fred.

We have fished all over the country for 40 years and had some weird stuff happen and have seen things that make you go WTF but... We were fishing a popular central/north Vancouver Island river. Quite remote but popular with anglers at times. It is a wilderness Park noted for gigantic trees. We parked our truck and camper in the crude parking lot which can acommodate maybe three cars but we were the only ones there. Sometimes people park on the logging road but we didn't see any vehicles. All day we heard branches breaking, put it down to Bears. We also heard voices just outside of ear range to understand what was being said and some of that was the noise of the river louder than the voices but we put that down to other anglers. That night when we headed off to bed, me in the bunk and my buddy in the lower sleeping area. We talked until about 11pm and then something woke me up around 2-2:30 am. My bunk window near my pillow was open half way, I could hear heavy beathing (sounded raspy, like congested lungs) from something big, whatever it was started sniffing at the open window. It was right on the otherside of the window. I froze. I didn't hear footsteps or any other diffintive noise. I didn't think it was a bear as the window is approx 8 ft from the ground. Couldn't hear anything on the roof or leaning on the camper. I lightly tapped the wall and my buddy tapped back. It had woken him up too. He wasn't sure what woke him up but it didn't sniff at his wndow, maybe because it was closed? Didn't hear much noise as it walked off, something that big should of made more noise but the ground is pretty hard and bare. No marks on the fiberglass camper in the morning, no footprints, no weird smells, no markes on the truck and it is black. The entire incident lasted maybe 20 seconds but felt like 10 minutes. We left at daylight

Awesome you’ve started to tell of Alaska experiences! I live in SE Alaska. Heard a scream back in the valley 52 years ago, I’ve never camped there again. Been back there plenty of times in daylight but I always got out of there before dark. They own the night. There are so many areas i’ve been in out boating and hunting that felt off, so I would leave and find a different place. Was told by my father at a very young age to go by my feelings and to trust my intuition. Words to live by! Thank you for sharing!

@@fredinalaska Hi Fred, was 4 badass 12yr olds, we thought, each of us had our single shot 22’s. The scream started around 11 pm, way back in the valley but it was so loud and long that we knew what it was. We packed up and started back along side the river,the scream got loader and longer, seemed like it was following us back to town. We popped off shots in the air hoping it would stay away from us. Back then the flashlights were junk, at least the ones we could afford. Not a sighting or a paralleling bunch of noises just that scream. I heard years later a women and her son had a sighting on a popular hiking trail near Thimbleberry lake. Their on Baranoff Island. We just don’t talk about them. My friend. I live in London in the UK, one of the biggest cities in the world. There are people, cars, noise, buildings and all the other stuff you get in built up, man made areas around me all the time. What do I know of remote places thousands of miles away? I have no right to say what is going on or not in a place I’ve never ever been to from the comfort of my armchair. I believe you bro. The world is a huge place. We are led to believe it isn’t anymore because of air travel, communications and all of that, but it is. You have individual forests bigger than my city over there. I’ve also seen a cryptid in a rural area of Britain. I’ve actually given up telling people the story as most don’t believe me, but I know what I saw. Sorry if I’m rambling on a bit. I’ve watched all your videos and I know you aren’t telling tall tales. People need to know there’s more to this world than what we see every day. Keep up the good work. By the way, look up the Surrey Puma. That’s the creature I saw.

@StarWarsJay
@StarWarsJay 2 жыл бұрын
@@subarcticalaskasasquatch the one I see was walking in a field in broad daylight, middle of summer in a field next to a busy road. My first thought was “German Shepherd…why is it alone”, but straight away I noticed how it moved in that way only cats can. Slinking along. Not quiet in hunting mode, but ready to be if that makes sense. Also it was a really shiny, almost luxurious black colour. I was in a car, see it for about ten seconds. No doubt it was a big cat of some kind. The popular theory goes that it was legal to own exotic pets in the 60s. Lots of rich rock stars etc had them. Then they became illegal in the 70s and people let them loose. Way too many holes in that one, not least that they e been spotted around since medieval times.

Fred I’m 55 from Maine. Used to fish out of Dutch Harbor. The northern Maine Woods is vast and thick with a ton of ground scrub wild raspberries and blackberries alder and fern. You can’t see them 15 ft in front of you in most places. If you can bring a laser pointer with you. Like the cat toy. It’s a little stream color red very small. They don’t like it at all. Some would say it hurts them or irritates them. I was wondering why I never would catch them on trail camera. I’ve tried for years. There infer red cameras and it gave me an idea to test the laser. The problem is getting the opportunity to do it. I had one and only one chance and it was I’m guessing a young teenage female maybe. 6 and 1/2 feet tall 250lbs maybe more. I just had a chance to get that out of my pocket and try to find it during the day u can’t see the laser off in a distance. But I don’t think she knew I was there. Totally had the wind in my favor. But the second I turned that pointer on and tried aiming it at her she went into full sprint over a blow done and into the woods. Something happened. She didn’t scream or anything but she could move. Instant speed. 75yards in like 5 seconds maybe less. Love hearing your events play out. Your a good story teller for sure. God bless you all.

@@subarcticalaskasasquatch I think you’re right on with the hardwired thing. Your mind knows only what it knows, and when you see something that is out of the normal your brain can’t put it in context, so you either go all in or you push it out. Fear is a safety mechanism and it probably affects our brains in a way to protect us somehow. With me when I saw what was undeniably a footprint, just 20 yards from my truck where we were camping, I looked at it, took a couple pictures, then left and never went back. Why not??? It was only 20 yards from my sleeping bag. I saw it, acknowledged it, and moved on. Why didn’t I look at it for like a half hour, or go back and measure. I even had plaster in my truck. Nope. Like 3 days later I got the chills thinking about it. But was totally calm during the observation. Very weird how I reacted.

That was a double goosebump story Fred! I think the veils are thinner in Alaska and the other dimensions know it too that’s why it’s so easy for them to go in and out so easily. And the fact that it’s not densely populated. That’s just my theory doesn’t mean it’s true. But I’ve seen ghosts and spoken with them as they seem so real till you realize they just glided away never to return from a 1800’s underground makeshift parking garage🫣Thank you Fred another great story🙏✨

I'm 52, I had my first (of many) experience with them at 4 years old, in the Nez Perce Forest of Idaho. My Opa (Grandpa) taught me about them, and fae/little people (man, do people get them wrong, thinking they're sparkly little tinkerbells lol). Once, 6 of us, 3 couples, experienced an entire night of them in our camp. Two big ones (one about 12 ft, the other about 7ft), and 2 smaller ones. It was so intense, that one of my friends completely denied it even happened, the next day. Swore he had no idea what we were talking about, and within a two week period had distanced himself from all of us. He moved away shortly there after. That's all I'll say about it, out of respect for you and your channel focussed on Alaska. I've just been binging your videos, and relate to so many of the stories. I stopped telling people about mine a few years back cuz I got tired of seeing that look of disbelief. I wish there were more places people could openly share their stories. Anyway, thanks so much for what you do, it feels like I'm hangin out with relatives and good friends.

I legit am blown away with the encounters up there!!! So aggressive and down right freaky... I feel bad for all of these people, I encountered something here in Michigan in the Upper Peninsula during a massive snow storm and I went out to the garage at 1am to have a smoke while everyone else was sleeping, the garage is not attached to the house and its about 8feet away from the top step of 5 to the house door and the garage door... It wasn't long after I got in there I started feeling really weird, scared, like was something was in the enclosed garage with me and a full size truck and a Jeep Grand Cherokee and all the doors were closed, I had just lit my cigarette when something hit the window about 8ft off of the ground and growled at me, I almost peed my pants, no lie and im not embarrassed either, I didn't know what to do and immediately thought the garage side door wasn't locked so I ran over and locked it, there was no way I was going outside, but thats the only way to get back into the house but I was so scared whatever that thing was could've moved quickly around the building before I could make it in the house... So I called my fiance, who was sleeping in their finished basement and it rang and rang, he had one too many and was sleeping hard, so I go through all 8 phones from everyone in that house but no one answered... I decided to call by best friend who lived where I lived, which is in Northern Lower Michigan, and thank God she's a night owl like me and she answered right away and I started rambling off what was going on, but was all hushed about it, it was weird, like i didn't want it to hear me talking, especially about IT... She calms me down and believes what I'm telling her because I'm not one to make up stories and call someone in the middle of the night and tell them Bigfoot or the dogman is after me... So we talk about my options, one was to sleep out there until the sun came up but it was -10f and snowing like crazy outside, or just make a run for it and she promised me she'd stay on the phone with me while I did this, I don't why but it gave me some comfort that someone would know if I just disappeared in the middle of the night... So i unlocked the door, counted to 3 and opened and closed the door in 1.5 seconds and ran into that house like the devil was on my heels!!!! I told everyone the next morning what had happened and they listened to every word but were laughing about it but one person, he was the owner of the house, he told me after he went ice fishing the day before, he had dumped his minnows right under that window i got growled at... I went out there to look for tracks but never saw any... But we did get over a foot of snow that night so they were probably covered up... Just curious Fred, what do the Elders say these things are, I mean besides the Hairy man, like do they know where they came from, what exactly they are? If you've already talked about this on one of your videos, I apologize, im a new listener and subscriber...👍Great job with the channel, I can't wait for more word to get out to the masses, they need to be made aware what is out there so they are prepared and if they don't want to believe, well ok, at least we tried... I said that years ago regarding them wood knocking . I said it was them clacking there tongues. You have to figure something with a head 25 in in diameter the kind of noise it could make and just by their screams it's totally believable that they wood knocking is tongue clacking

First time to hear where the wood knock comes from. I wondered about that. Didn't make sense that they would be able to create the same sound in different areas with a stick but it does make sense if they use their tongue and roof of mouth to make the knock sound.

Man I only sub'd to your channel a couple of weeks back and I've never heard so many Alaska accounts. I'd heard from other experiencers who've given their accounts of how they are more aggressive up there. One guy who has a relationship with a clan of friendly Sas in the US, who is a regular guest on a particular YT show has said that the ones he knows gave him a kind of 'mind imaging' of how certain Alaskan Sas were taking, hog-tying and keeping humans to basically eat! I don't personally think that is common but it makes you wonder about the range of types out there.

I think you said that your friends saw "white" eye shine as well as the red eye shine. Very curious as to what the white eye shine was. I know brown eyes will look red at night, especially when light is shone on them. When people on the Hollywood big foot hunter shows say that they see red glowing eyes, i really laugh. For eyes to be glowing, to me that would mean bioluminescence qualities. Eye shine yes definitely, glowing I'm skeptical. My encounter was in the daylight, his eyes were brown, with a golden hue to them with bright sunshine on them. Just wonder what color the eyes with the white shine at night would be during the day? I know one thing for sure, I wouldn't want to find out for myself. Lol

I find it interesting how as you said, a few week earlier when you had the owl hoots and fire logs thrown. How could they go somewhere else and hear noises, eye shine and wonder what could that be. I get going back out and not letting this defeat your joy of being in woods. But to say " wonder what that could be". If like you said this is not a single account, I would think everything that was heard would be a hairy man. Hope this doesn't sound disrespectful, but what a bunch of ding dongs

I am NOT being funny at all and I mean this wholeheartedly….if I was in that tent listening to something massive circling my tent grunting I will literally pee my pants!!! I have never had an experience with a Hairy Man but I did have a UFO experience as well as several paranormal experiences. That’s why I believe that if you are going to accept one cryptid/creature you have to accept ALL, no matter how crazy it sounds. I don’t need a personal experience and I don’t science to officially acknowledge anything to believe. There is enough history, physical evidence & truthful testimony to prove existence. I will NEVER look a hunter, lawman/military or anyone credible or anyone who has lived their lives in the country so they know what is out there and tell them they had a mistaken identity. That’s an insult on the greatest level!!! Peoples lives aren’t changed 360 & forever adding the risk of ridicule because they’re bored or enjoy being ridiculed. I also feel as long as people stay skeptical, these creatures are safer, I worry proof will have people hunting them for sport.
