Flying cars have been technically possible for around half a century, it’s not the tech that’s the issue, it’s that in the real world they’re not practical..You would still have to follow flight paths, which means no flying over urban areas. No taking off and landing on public roads, so you need to drive it to an airfield. Full flight safety check is required after each transition from car to flight mode. That takes time.…At that point you might as well buy a Ferrari and a chopper, both of which will do the same job but quicker, and cheaper.

What an infatuation with flying cars, that doesn't exist and it won't exist. Manned Drones it's the right name for it.

@schnitzelschnizel9448 , If you took a formal college degree in aeronautical engineering or aerospace engineering or astronautical engineering, then prove me wrong. Do you even know the difference between a bicycle and a motorcycle? Cars don't fly, they roam the roads. Drones, helicopters, airplanes, rockets, space shuttle, balloons, dirigibles, UFOs do fly.
