Yeah it's so sad that I think the ex bff is just a looney in the story. Think about it. If it's real then you can't take what she says about her baby seriously. If the Wife wants to know if it's true or not then just get a DNA test but I personally think if it were a true story then neither of those kids are the ex Bff's and she's just crazy after a psychotic break. If she threw the newly born baby then the baby is more likely to be dead.

By the way it's shown and described, it's more likely to have been that in her perception of insanity, she probably genuinely believed that it was her child that the wife had (Which could be the result of the husband actually cheating on the wife and getting the ex Bff pregnant and so the children maybe resemble her child in some way or she's just so crazy that she can't tell what's going on anymore. Makes the story more chilling though honestly.

I always left my curtains/blinds open @ night. I've always been a bit partial to the glow of the moon. But then again, it was the early 70's when I was a child. Different times, children didn't have to worry about pedophiles as much back then. Pedophiles still existed, they just were not as prominent & obvious as they are today. i also had a dream a nightmare...: So i was dreaming about sitting on my bed and i was looking at my closet because i got scared that someone will come out so i went out of my room and went to my parents room. my parents had to work so i was alone. i had siblings but they weren’t in my dream. i went back to my room scared of the closet so i played on my phone. i wanted to go outside to play with the kids because i was scared of the closet before i went out... i just stood there and looking at the closet it was cracking and then a creature came out at my face i got so scared and screamed and woke up. the creature had 6 legs and a flat face with a creepy face. i told my parents about it and i will never forgot that dream... i swear this is not fake i actually had this dream i swear to god
