the cheating software they use bypasses that. respawn just needs to add their own code that flags any cheaters with crazy accuracy and headshot %

You'd think they track accuracy stats (ADS and hip fire). Instead of having people report, any stats above X% accuracy should get sent to the anti cheat team for viewing. God knows they can't keep up with the number of players getting reported and most anti-cheats get a work around 24 hours after going live.

Someone reported me for cheating the other day on my Xbox. I told him I appreciated the compliment. I genuinely wonder what I did that made him think I was cheating. I am barely above average. Almost 40 yo Diamond player. Sometimes my 301 and 99 one just won clips everybody. That’s what it’s like with aim assist sometimes. To be fair though that day I found a cheater as well. There’s not many on console, but they do exist.

I meet cheater 8/10 pub match in tokyo server, its like the game copy paste enemy every match, you dead before you can shoot a single bullet, they know exactly where you are so they just hide & beam you when you come, they beam you at 100m with hipfire strafing speed.

to explain cheaters just killing themselves to the zone, it's likely that they're fighting big streamers and they kill themselves so the streamers don't get their gamertags and get them banned. that's what I've heard anyway

Been getting killed through walls and doors all week cross play needs to be taken care of and cheaters need to be banned permanently on all platforms and need to be fined for their cheats especially when their using them in ranked and championship matches. I'm tired of this and I bet there are a lot of people tired of it too. I can't even get into a normal lobby without finding a cheater. Please fix cross play or take it off permanently it's so unfair and not even fun. It took me 20 minutes just to get into a lobby when I turned off my cross play the other night and don't find it worth playing the game anymore.

I just got banned for raging at cheaters teaming in a pub. I was playing duo no fill and at round one was already just 3 squad left,me and this duo with a 3rd farming damage each other. I got killed by them and guess what, one of them is the number 111pred, cough teaming. He ends up with 5k and 16kills before he kill himself while spectating and texting him. Now he keep doing this shit while I'm banned juat because I have no more patience with this shit happening every single game...Apex is dead for me

I'm sad, my 750 hours account with some battlepasses and good legendary skins got banned for cheating even tho i never used any cheats or things like that, i just logged out of my game and the next day i joined my account it said it was banned due to cheating, also when i contacted EA about it they said they wouldn't go back on the decision they made about it, and i emailed them 4 times explaining everything, its sad how their support is bad for that kind of issue, and meanwhile there's people like those shown in the video that don't get banned so easily, i wasn't even good or had a lot of kills/wins/accuracy, there wasn't anything suspicious in my account, but apparently their anti-cheat got a false positive from my system and i got banned for it
