I don't think giving Etsy numbers for full year is full picture. Having that next to Etsy KZbin video ad and sponsor revenue (isolated from other topics), start your own etsy shop materials to make money for sale gives an overall picture. The etsy shop is more of a lead generation / providing topic for content. Some content creators might make $20000 from a business but millions of dollars talking about their $20000 business, guilding others how to do the same thing, how they started it, where to source things, and so on. Profit is seen as sold proprietor. If from perspective of a business, you would pay yourself a reasonable wage (vs. just outsourcing cost) so there is cost of labor.

Hello300$ from a person who lives in poland. This is half of the minimum wage in my country. So its lifechanging for us to do things like etsy . I get like 20$ a month from etsy and its still amazing. So thank u for the videos :D

I have a physical item shop (POD) but recently two of my best selling listings got deactivated by etsy because they don't align with their "handmade policy"... and I did the design myself, not even using any websites like creativefabrica etc (I'm a designer), and the other shirt was text based... I found them copied on Shein... :/ That really puts me off from that, since I was clearly the original creator and Etsy doesn't give a damn.. So I am debating now between digital wall art print shop, or a digital svg/png shop... can't decide which one I'm going to enjoy more and which one will be more profitable. Two different customers, usually wall art is more expensive, but svg/png goes through phases of trendy graphics... Or should I do both 😆

Wow that sucks!!! Hmmm I wonder if you can do anything about it? Or is there nothing you can do Great that you have two other ideas! I'm in the camp of doing what feels more fun, but some other people might go with the one that is more profitable, Depends on your goals!

I’ve noticed my sales go down when I’m not posting new listings . When I post daily or even 2 or 3 new listings a week my sales and conversions spike

That's so interesting. I've heard of that happening but I've also seen people get sales WITHOUT posting new listings all the time.

My observation is the same. There is certainly a preference for Etsy to show active stores.
