Veena has different types - Tanjore/Mysore/bobbili.. it depends on how u like the sound.. if u like base tone, u can go for bigger kodam bobbili. We cant tell which is good without looking at the piece as it differs from veena to Veena depending on the maker. Not all Veenas sound Same.. so it's a difficult one to answer to be honest.

I've clearly told the ragam..It's like natabhairavi. Just follow arohanam n avarohanam of that ragam from ma.you can also change the dots from ma if it helps. Hope it's clear now
