@@VanguardFootball , watched his career unfold, local boy who gave it all, would play even when injured, Joe as he was nicknamed, even died on the pitch at Gillingham, our physio Ron Durham saved his life , he freed his tongue which he had swallowed. He was back playing the following week. 1972 to 1985, 573 league appearences. No one gave more for the Cardiff City cause, R.I.P. Big Joe.
