The third story sounds a bit ...unlikely, like the author picked the name at random without knowing the history of the camp. Sobibor was exclusively an extermination camp that operated from May '42 to October '43. At any given time during that period, about 300 prisoners were kept on hand to support camp operations through forced labor - conduction repairs, sorting the belongings of the dead, disposing of the bodies and to provide "friendly" faces on the train platform and sorting station when new prisoners were off loaded. The camp was razed to the ground after the prisoners organized an attempted revolt and mass break out of all 300 slave laborers. Only sixty individuals are known to have survived the war. I suppose it's possible the grandmother could have been one of those individuals sorted upon arrival and immediately diverted for labor at another facility but if she really was one of the sixty, her tale would be a hell of a lot more compelling than the lurid little vignette presented in this compilation.
