A good, no frills video ! Installed F2 on my 800 and then spent 3 hours on the beach giving it a good test. Decided to dig a few iffy signals purely to test FE against F2. End result was my dig rate decreased by eliminating those that danced about to minus numbers. Overall, I believe Minelab have done a good job-----stick to the strong signals and read the numbers !

michael moss Thanks for watching. I need to test the new update further. What I will say is with F2 set to 6-9 and recovery at 6 I placed a rusty bottle cap next to a coin and the machine did not seem to see the coin. The numbers remained negative and audio was an iron grunt.

What do you think of the F2 update? do you think it contributed to the amount of trash or did it help on a very trashy beach.

Raymond Gilchrist It only really works in all metal mode. It does give bottle caps an iron grunt and negative numbers when the F/ is set high but if you place a non ferrous object such as a coin next to the cap with F2 set high it doesn’t see it. I would need to test more thoroughly. Jason.
