They had free will to make their fate- Yet the power in their free will is constrained by their impure actions of which Allah knows. I saw a similar dream once, and i never knew this or heard any similar story before, the next day the first video pops in youtube recommendations is this story that was many years back it was a different video though. I Have DSPD NON 24 DELAYED SLEEP PHASE DISORDER NON 24 HOURS every single day my brain produces melotonin late About 45 minutes Which makes me wake up every single day later and later LIKE TODAY. I WAKE UP AT 8 AM TOMORROW WILL BE AROUND 8.45 NEXT DAY 9.30 AND SO ON Some days it will be I sleep during the daylight Like morning. Afternoon. Evening It will take about 33 days for my circadian rhythm to cycle arround the clock I have no choice. Some times. I do combine my dhuhr and asr or maghrib and isha prayers together. Or some times i make up the missed prayers I am helpless I cant completely take control of this Disorder Coping with this for the rest of my life
