Hi! For the toolbox, I looked at documentation and all and see that you can add to your subscription but if you have a subscription of multiple things or products like for example several types of coffee, can you add AND remove? I don't see this info anywhere.

Thank you so much for your videos! They are AMAZINGLY helpful! I have a question for you! In the example of the soap company you've shared let's say they have the subscription for the soap but one month they want to add in the natural brush or dryer balls to their order. Are they able to do that? Or do they need to place a whole separate order and pay additional shipping? Or is there a way to combine them once they have placed that new ordeR? THank you again!! Have a lovely day!

Hi Simon! Great video! Thank you for doing this. I just have a question. Can stripe process multiple subscription products in a single cart? Will it be able to renew the subscriptions even it has different dates?

Hey Zeus! Yes you are correct. Stripe can process multiple subscription products in a single cart using WooCommerce Subscriptions. Subscriptions will renew even if it has different dates.

Thanks for the video Simon. At 22.08 I see your install mentions 'Allow switching between subscription plans". Is this extra functionality from a plugin or custom code perhaps? I am trying to find out what the process would be to allow customers to change from one subscription product to another subscription product and if that is possible or if it is a new checkout and I need to manually work the pro-rata. Was hoping that this "allow switching between subscription plans" is what this could be. Many tahnks

Pro Question: If you have a Subscriptions for some kind of BookClub, and you want to ship different products (Issue Nr) on recurring Orders is there any way to do this ? Example: The Customer orders to a Superman Book Series Starting by Issue Nr1 The first order obviously will send the Nr. 1 (wich is the Prodcut that is the Default Prodcut associated with the Subscription) When the Subscription is doing the next Recurring Order, the Order Item should be Issue Nr 2 Pro Question Advance (if there is a Solution to above Question) Since Variations are kind of their own unique Subscritpions, i think Automate Woo can Trigger from specific Subscription Variations ? A Guess for the solution would be something like to create kind of rules with AutomateWoo (for every possible Issue) e.g. : - Triggered after "Subscription Renewal Payment Complete" - Subscription Prodcut "Superman" - Subscription Payment Count is X (i think i have to start with 2 here, when 1 would be the initial order) - Remove Superman - Add Superman Issue X
@simongondeck
@simongondeck 2 жыл бұрын
Hey Andy! Great questions. How you explained this is how I would do this with AutomateWoo. You could use 1 variable subscription product with a bunch of variations or many simple subscription products (i.e. Book Issue 1, Book Issue 2, and so on). In regards to setting this up with AutomateWoo I would create 2 workflows. The 1st workflow would be on Subscription Created and then trigger to add Series 2 product to subscription and remove Series 1. Then, create the second workflow for Subscription Renewal Payment Complete and remove Series 2 from subscription and add Series 3. You could also find a way to just do this with 1 workflow but could make the most sense to create 2 main workflows. You may have to duplicate each of these workflows depending on the starting point.

Hi great info. Question I have 4 different plans, let’s say the starter plan. How do I add a radio or checkbox option to include a hosting subscription then click the button to go to checkout? Or would it be better to add the hosting subscription option at checkout and how to do that? This is my bottleneck.

I can't find out how to make te subscription lengt custom. For my webshop it is important that the customer can choose there own renewall dates. Example: Customer 1 needs the products every 2 weeks and customer 2 needs the product every monht, customer 3 needs it every 2 months. What are the options for this? Thanks in regards!
@simongondeck
@simongondeck 2 жыл бұрын
Hey Casper! You would need to add multiple options to your product. Do you also offer your product to be purchased one-time ? I would use All Products add-on with subscriptions: simongondeck.com/apwcs. If you did not want to use the All Products add-on you could setup a variable subscription product. See more here: simongondeck.com/woocommerce-subscriptions-variable-product/

One thing is fuzzy in my mind. If you're building a membership website and you want monthly payments, you have to use both Subscription for woocommerce and Membership for woocommerce ? or can you manage level of visibility with another plugin like dynamic contents for elementor and roles ? Can we dedicate a role per subscription type ? I'd like to avoid too many plugins but I need this to be robust and evolutive.

@simongondeck

Hey Andre! Do you have “retry failed payments” enabled in your WooCommerce Subscriptions settings? I mention it at 7:16. Also, if you have Orders that are the “Failed” status and the Subscription has the “On Hold” status, you can manually retry those failed payments. See more at 18:10. Overall, if a subscription renewal order fails you need to enable email to send to your customers to update their payment info so their renewal order will update from Failed to Processing. Once this happens the Subscription updates from “On Hold” to “Active”. Does this make sense? I realize this may be confusing but if you have a lot of subscriptions that have the status “On Hold”, click into the renewal order of that subscription that has the “Failed” status and manually retry those failed pa yments. If that does not work you need to reach out to customers to update their payment information.

How would you suggest implementing a cancellation fee for subscriptions?
@simongondeck
@simongondeck 2 жыл бұрын
Hey good question. I would use the Cancellation Notice for WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin: sgwp.dev/am6 Yes the plugin costs $49 but probably going to save a lot of time and headaches than trying to custom code this functionality.
@ThomasMoralez
@ThomasMoralez 2 жыл бұрын
@@simongondeck Thanks for your response! So, I checked out this plugin, but it seems like it only provides a UI for giving me a cancellation notice from a customer. What I'm looking to do is actually charge a cancellation fee to a customer that cancels a subscription before it's subscription terms ends. It would be nice if when a customer chooses to cancel their subscription prior to its end date, they would automatically get charge a fee. Is that possible?
@simongondeck
@simongondeck 2 жыл бұрын
@@ThomasMoralez Ahh understood! Sadly I cannot find any plugin that does this. This could be custom coded but could get complicated as when the customer cancels you would have to create another order for the amount of the cancellation fee and automatically process that order. Definitely possible just going to require custom coding.

Hiya Simon! I have one variable digital download product. The variables are billing frequencies (monthly and yearly). It is a digital magazine. I just add a new digital file each month and my subscribers have access to them. Easy. However, I cannot figure out how to set things up to where when a new subscriber comes onboard, their access begins with that month's magazine download. Right now, they seem to have access to every single digital download file attached to my digital product. How can I fix this? Thanks!
