No where in Islam that it says by ANY means.. "you dont have to pray to be accepted*" On the contrary, Prayer is the First thing you will be asked for on the Day of Judgement, if it was fulfilled then the rest of the deeds will be. So instead of telling them no need to Pray! Although they clearly mentioned that they want to repent to Allah and start praying again! Terrible poor useless piece of advise. Seriously bad! We die in this world and in the hereafter we are either in paradise or in hell. If we follow the path of the prophets and what Allah expects from us then we will live for ever in beautiful paradise. Otherwise we will suffer for ever in hell (or just a certain time - depends on your religion)
