She's been a rapper since 2006, Tom called her up so he could play his first gig in 2009 at one of her shows. Nova has been haunted with how a label had messed with her character. She had 10 years between LP's even though she made an EP 3 years ago. She's independent now from a label, but they jacked her up, plus with her health issues, and tragedy in her life she had been in hiatus for awhile. Shooting Tom's videos let her stay away from her anxiety, but hurt her in the depression arena. When you get to Wishing Well you'll understand what the label did to her.

Nova was signed to Def Jam, a while back. When they dropped her from the label, they stabbed her in the back (she found out when the apartment manager told her the label wasn’t paying her rent). If you replace “HEY YOU” with “Yo, Def Jam 🖕🏼”, you get a sense of what Message Nova is trying to convey to them. #hangovergang forever 🤘🏻🤘🏿🤘🏼🤘🏽
