180 Hodie Maria (l-Imqabba) 2

A new antiphon composed for the feast of the Assumption of Mary celebrated in Imqabba in 2020. Due to the covid-19 restrictions suggested by the Health Authorities for the year 2020, it was deemed wise not to have the usual orchestra for high mass; hence this antiphon was composed for a small musical ensemble from the King George V Band and soprano Frances Catherine Cassar. This is a recording of the first public performance during high mass on 15th August 2020 in Imqabba. Music by David Agius.
