Agreed. I want to say something. I was a non-Gugudan fanboy before this came out. I liked Gugudan well enough before this song. I thought their songs were fun, but they didn't blow me away. But when "The Boots" came out, I was floored. The song by itself is awesome. But the choreography is also awesome...but wait, that's not all. The way the girls were styled and their costumes, also awesome. Each one of them looking at their most optimal gorgeous. To me, this release is an example where every department of production hit it out of the park. The members, the stylists, the choreographer, the MV director, the music producers. EVERYONE did awesome here. I put this song in my top 3 songs of 2018 easily. Yet...it didn't blow up as big a other girl group songs for some reason. Very unfair. It feels like no matter how hard you work, sometimes it won't matter. :(

Gugudan deserves more. This song is great, and they're talented girls. I don't even think sejeong's line are that massive or a big deal for a main vocal with a following (it's like complaining that taeyeon had lots of parts in soshi songs). It's jellyfish's way of not showing us the rest of the group apart from sejeong or mina for a whileeee, plus not really using sejeong or mina's popularity well for the group, that gets great comebacks like this a little slept on. Like i said, gugudan deserves more.
