グレンダイザー放映当時、小学校4年生でした。マジンガーZとグレートマジンガーの共演、グレートマジンガーとグレンダイザーとの対決でした。従ってマジンガーZとグレンダイザーの共演は有りませんでした。イラスト等ではマジンガーZとグレンダイザーのツーショットはファンとしては涙物です。で今回グレンダイザーUではマジンガーXと共闘は長年の夢が実現しましたね。オリジナルを知ってる私としては。

I believe it is similar to the optimus prime effect. You make a movie to show the new threat is powerful by killing the old leader. The problem is you are literally killing a child’s hero to try and get the new guy over. Now companies are still dealing with people’s childhood resentment.

リスペクトと言えば聞こえは良いけどカタルシスもなく熱さもなく劣化コピーでしか無いんだよね。作品への愛情とファンに当時できなかったもっと良いもの届けるという石が全然見えなかった。シチュエーションやシーンの構図などが一緒なだけでそこに魂を感じなかった。 7話しかなかったマジンカイザーのほうがよほど魅せ方を心得ていたし満足度も高かった。真ゲッターや鋼鉄神ジーグなんか同じくらいの話数であの満足度だったわけだから如何に今作がダレてたか判る。スタッフの質って大事だなとつくづく感じた作品。
