@@ianluca2342 guess you haven't seen their call call call hare performance yet😂 and in 2019 when they performed Aju Nice in blue dragons award show, they legit said live "We'll be embarrassed if you don't stand up"😂. you can't trust award shows and broadcastings in korea. they still add studio version above the live one when they upload it and they always have the backings louder than the artists' mics on live. if u want to see no lipsyncing, their concerts and fanmeeting events are so much better.

for people wondering, I don't actually think they are lipsyncing, their backing track is just louder than usual. If you check their comeback stages from their company, they don't add the backing track, and you can clearly hear their vocals. The only downside is that some members don't have powerful vocals (it's something you're born with, so it doesn't have anything to do with talent), and when they sing the song without the harmonies the song can sound dull or not complete. (these harmonies can be added by layering multiple vocals to make the song better). Also, it's very common not to sing the adlibs in the song so I do not believe they are lipsyncing. People/carats that saying lipsyncing is ok, I would like to disagree. No matter how much I love dancers and the choreo in seventeen songs, if they can not sing live they are not considered artists. I rather have them doing simpler choreos than lipsyncing their songs. And I know they have amazing vocals, that is why I think it is unfortunate to waste it because the choreo is too hard.
