Place is looking great. I am 100% you will always find things to do even after you are finished lol. Do you have a tentative date you plan on building your new home?

Thanks. My plan is to cash flow the construction -- no loans, no debt -- and do as much as I can myself. So it'll be a slow road. Next May will make the end of my spousal support payments, at which time I'll have a lot more $ to work with. Need to save enough to pay others for rough-in/dry -- basement, roof, windows, wrapped. I can then do much of the rest of the build at my own pace. Of course, the basement, roof and windows are all expensive, so it'll probably be 2026 before I can save up the rest of the funds I'll need to do that 1st part. But, hopefully in 2025 I can get engineering plans completed, perk tests, and county permits for septic and home build to begin in 2026; maybe even septic installed. Once the the place is "livable", I'll put my current home on the market and use the residuals from that to pay for the rest of the materials and contractors needed to complete new home and maybe garage. I don't plan to retire for another 7yrs, so I'm in no hurry. Both properties are gaining in value every day, so there's no rush. Probably that's TMI, but that's my plan and timeline at this point.
