A scissor extending intake brilliant

If possible I am borrowing that idea next year

The intake is extended using strings and pulleys with normal cascade rigging. You can see this at 0:47. We (team 13377) tried extending with a scissor that year but it did not work nearly as well. To much friction over that long of distance and super hard to control precise movement.
