Question, is there a reason you film portrait instead of landscape?

Damn.. nice haul guys!

Pops here. You need a small one prong rake to remove small amount of dirt along the bottles edge.

You guys ever dig around, what is now Lasalle, and the Harrison to Polk area?
@markandrews2942 Жыл бұрын
I think you mean Rebecca at the well pitcher. You need a screen to n the early pits. ,1850s store and bar tokens are worth as much as some historical flasks. Great video.

Thanks for the video!! The two jars to the immediate left of the Scroll flask look to be "Chow Chow" or Round Pickle jars, probably from England. Many of those will have marks of some kind on the base. Just curious what was on the bottoms. I think the general type was made for a long time, maybe c. 1860s-1890s.

They’re some where in a box, I do remember them having a glass mark on the bottom. If find them, I will let you know!

I was just thinking how do we know the mug came from the bottle or the bottle came the mug (base)

I am curious..Do you need to have a permit to dig like that in the city? I'm still watching...

Have you guys ever tried using ground penetrating radar to locate these old sites? My parents owned some land in Iowa that had an 1880s-1920s dumpsite on it, fished a lot of stuff out over the years, sure I am missing some! I use a metal detector go where a lot of old iron / tin cans are then usually find good mix glass, lots of old drug store bottles.

Did you know that in the 1900s (start of real automatic machines) that there were over 10+ different machines blowing milk bottles, pharmas/meds, fruit jars, bottles, etc. !

Time to change up this slit-view of the dig site. Time to get full screen - am not ET (or feline species) with vertical slit eyes watching the locale.

Well. Looks like your going to have to be a “feline” for the remainder of the videos we released in 2022. Watch it on a bigger screen. The video was filmed on an iphone thats why it looks like that. We will be filming all videos in 2023 on a GoPro. That will allow for better quality

@@thechicagobottlediggers290 did watch in big screen and it lacks "schtuff."

Give a better explanation and showing of any fruit jars (shards etc) - and I can get you (and the viewers) the info of its production dates, when, where, who ..,. and potentially other backstories.

Thanks. These were all pre edited. We both work full time jobs and do this as a hobby. Time doesn’t always allow for extreme detail for every video.
