185th RRAO - ITALIAN SPECIAL FORCES | "Videre Nec Videri" | Spartan Productions

The 185° Reggimento Ricognizione e Acquisizione Obiettivi (185th Reconnaissance and Objective Acquisition Regiment) is one of the Special Forces of the Italian Army. Its personnel possess the qualification of "Acquisitore Obiettivi, Objective Acquisition", and can conduct Direct Actions which envisage the hiring of "remote" objectives (with "stand-off" mode), taking advantage of the equipment supplied and all the platforms of land, air and naval fire. The 185th RRAO operates normally infiltrating Operational Departments equipped and trained to operate "beyond enemy lines", at a great distance from friendly forces and in complete tactical isolation. His duties are varied.
