ভারতীয় উপমহাদেশে টিপু সুলতানের তলোয়ারের কথা সবারই জানা। এক সময় বাংলাদেশে সোর্ড অফ টিপু সুলতান নামে যে টিভি সিরিয়াল দেখানো হতো তা ছিল দারুণ জনপ্রিয়। টিপু সুলতান ছিলেন ভারতীয় উপমহাদেশের দক্ষিণের মহীশূর রাজ্যের শাসক। ব্রিটিশদের বিরুদ্ধে তাঁর অসীম সাহসীকতার জন্য তিনি ইতিহাসে পেয়েছেন বীরের মর্যাদা। সেই সাথে যোদ্ধা টিপুর সেই তলোয়ারটিও হয়ে উঠেছিল সাহসীকতার প্রতীক। গত সপ্তাহে লন্ডনের বনহ্যামস নিলাম হাউসে ১৮৬ কোটি টাকায় বিক্রি হয়েছে আঠারোশো শতকের ভারতীয় এই সুলতানের বিখ্যাত সেই তলোয়ার। যা সবার কাছে সোর্ড অফ টিপু সুলতান নামেই পরিচিত..
