@@jasonritter2492 First saying it's only running 7.50s isn't just because of the class. The car isn't technically legal to go faster than 7.99 over 3600lbs. You cash this car at 4000lbs running 187mph it's not going to end well and the reason they have these rules when it comes to chassis certs. Also it's only 22psi is irrelevant. Boost is just a number and is based off how big and efficiently the motor moves air N/A. You can have two 500ci motors both making 22psi but one making hundreds of more hp depending on compression and how much better the heads and cam are. This setup on this motor at 22psi would be almost twice that boost on a SB. Now moving on. I guess we have some salty bitches over a little comment breaking someone's balls. First I can't stand doc just so that's clear. I was also obviously exaggerating because the lead comment was that ridiculous. Doc can run 187mph in the 8th. That's how far apart these cars are. It's nothing against Roys car either. It's a nicely built car that runs well. I wouldn't argue differently. As far as your comment. We're not talking about 2013. We're talking now. I can talk about years ago also. For example I've been racing since the 90s and to just name a few. I was part of Anthony Disomma's pit crew when he ran in the NMCA and NMRA and I still lived in NJ. I tuned for Tommy Trotter and crewed for him also years ago in SSO which is a 28×10 class. I also owned Anthony's super modified nitrous car that ran 7s on a 10.5 tire over 15 years ago. Now if you don't know the name Disomma you don't follow pro boost or X275 racing then or even no prep that much. Which is fine. There's all different levels and classes to this game but he's also the engine builder for Vixen. Which has shown multiple times it makes big power with the top end charge this car has. It just needs to get better off the hit. No prep is still new to the Burder's but have done well and have won the big tire class very early on. At least your not pumping your chest you been running 8s like this other idiot. Acting like that's suppose to be impressive because it didn't have a turbo I guess. Not many ran a turbo back then either anyway. Shit my street car with stock suspensions and manual trans ran 9s in the 90s with a little stock bottom end 8.2 deck sbf. Both with nitrous and a little S trim supercharger. Oh I also worked at my friends chassis shop coast chassis design before he moved to Florida building these types of cars and all the way to pro mods. All that said it still doesn't mean shit when it comes to this conversation lol.. like I said. I have nothing against Roy's car. I'd take it over Doc's any day of the week. It's just simply not near as fast but it's still a beautiful build and a better street car all around.

In the past you couldn't go faster than 8.50s over 3600lbs and why they made the newer 25.6 cert effective as of 2016 for vehicles as fast as 7.99 from 3600 to 5000lbs. If you know him go take a picture of the cert on the cage of the car. If the car is truly over 3600lbs the cage will have a 25.6 sticker. 7.99 is the quickest you can go over 3600lbs as per NHRA rules. Many guys run outside these rules all the time or run at the few tracks that don't use them. Rules have been and always will be broken. Sorry but I'm 100% correct when it comes to this subject. It's not what I heard or what someone told me. I've built the cars and read the NHRA rule book. I know the rules. So go take a pic of the sticker. Then come back and tell me what cert is on the chassis. I promise you if it's over 3600lbs it's 25.6 cert. To have anything else like a 25.5D, 25.3C it's under 3600lbs at race weight. That's if it still has the factory frame rails. Otherwise if it has a 25.4C, 25.2, etc it's a tube chassis car.

This car is so amazing to me because of its potential to be even faster. This car is all sorts of heavy, just think he's going 185 mph+ @ 7.6's. He could go full blown race car if he emptied out that interior completely, turned her into a tube chassis, then make it a back half car eliminating hundreds of pounds of steel from the doors to the hood then fenders, & last but not least lightweight sheet metal floors, fuel cell, & tub the rear wheel well wit sheet metal...!'
