May the Lord bless you and keep you. May HIS peace and deep joy (which cannot be found in the temporal things in our brief lives....they are 'but a vapor') through Christ alone fill your hearts.

I just made this pie. WOW. My house smells so good. I didn't put any nuts in it and I added a little less than a half cup of sugar. It doesn't need sugar if your bananas are very ripe. Mine weren't as ripe as I normally would want, but I couldn't wait to try this. I put some cream cheese frosting on one piece. Sugar overload. My husband said some home made whipped cream would be perfect on top. The pie looked just like Rachels. I had to cook it for 45 minutes in a glass pie pan. It was perfect!! Thank you so much Rachel!

Hi Rachel, Looks yummy, I will definitely be making the recipe. Just a little tidbit. Whenever you want to make a recipe that calls for ripe bananas, and yours aren't close to being ripe enough, bake them in a 350 * oven, or toaster oven, just make a couple of slits in the banana and put them on a foil lined tray slit side up and bake for about 20 minutes until they turn black. They end up having the most delicious depth of banana flavor.
