Hello Graham! I love watching your work and can completely relate to violin/instrument making feeling so much more exciting, when compared to an office job. How do you adjust the violin for octave strings? I've looked a lot online, but haven't been able to find much definitive info. I assume the thickness is modified, but I'm still quite a novice violin maker. Thanks!

When you mention carving f-holes during the thicknessing of the front, how much material do you normally leave to work with while the f-holes are cut out?
