I have a supercharged Dark Horse. I have had no (unplanned) problems with traction. I can get it to hook in 1st from a dig on the stock non-HP radials, which are actually pretty darn good. Full disclaimer: I learned how to consistently lauch higher horsepower MT cars (with no computerized helpers) 20 years ago, so there is a foundation skill there for knowing how quick I can ride the clutch and roll on the throttle (ususually about 0.5-1.0 second) before going to the floor with it. It's just a feeling that I go on when I launch. I don't think you'll have much of an issue if you practice. I cut a 1.8 60' on my first try. If I had stickies, I would expect to get into 1.6-1.7 territory. With slicks, maybe 1.4-1.5 out the hole? But I haven't tried either of those, so it's just a guess from similar cars I've driven.

Badass car you got there! Have you tried to launch it in launch mode? Did you go stage 1 or 2 on the whipple?

@@tuxon_speed Thanks! It's just Stage 1 right now. Keeping the warranty intact for the moment. Just making sure I don't have a bum powertrain before I take a leap of faith and go to Stage 2, off-road exhaust, rims/tires, and a little bump of nitrous.

@@tuxon_speed In fact, today I just raced a sport bike and a Hellcat. I slowly creeped away from the sport bike (he ended up on my rear bumper by the end of 3rd) but the Hellcat got absolutely obliterated by like 10+ cars by the end of 2nd. He was cool about it and asked to go again. After a second cheek clap session he decided there's something to these Dark Horses. I guess I could have told him it was supercharged. 😈

@@tuxon_speed Oh, sorry I forgot to reply about the launch mode. No, sadly, I haven't had any luck getting it to launch automatically. When it was NA, the computer could launch it hard at 3500 no problemo. Once I supercharged it, it's useless. I have to manually launch.

That is indeed crazy being the option for the redeye style spoiler (high performance spoiler) on my car was a $995 option from the factory💀 looks 100 times better though so.... worth it in my opinion and its on the factory sheet so technically i havent modified my car lol.

Yeah. I didn’t bolt down the center. I know others have but mine is fine. Even tested it at like 130mph lol

Any issue with the center of the gurney flap? Mine seems to stick out a little bit and wanted to see if you have any advice before I drill an extra hole to hold it in place!

There is definitely a small gap in the center of the gurney flap but it hasn’t been an issue for me.

Yep! There was a small wheel had with the stock wheels after lowering. You can check me previous videos. Once I put the 20 inch wheels on there is almost no wheel gap and zero rubbing
