That scream was everything. It was Jeremy leaving. It was Josh and Zac leaving. It was all the shitty things people said about her after those 2 situations. It was her relationship/marriage to Chad. It was her declining mental health. It was all the bullshit misogyny she had to deal with coming up in the scene as a young woman. Chills.

It's so true. I never gave Taylor the value he has. But in recent interviews, it's clear he's the reason Harley did not give up the band. I can not understand why Jeremy left the band, or even why Josh did it. But Zac came back, so it's all very strange and sad. It is sad to know that Hayley has been experiencing anxiety and depression recently. Perhaps this hug is a thank you for being there in difficult times supporting her.

It's the final goodbye to Jeremy and the paramore that was, at this point they thought that they might not continue as a band and Hayley was depressed, and this was like their last performance ever in a way for what they were at this moment compared to how the band is now, completely different band and peopl. they've changed and matured so much from this moment

It kind of annoys me when people got mad when they “lost their rock sound”. There is a lot of rock elements in their self titled album, especially in Future. The rock element may be pulled back a little bit, but they couldn’t do the same songs with just guitars throughout forever. It would get repetitive and hard to find something new to make. They explored different genres and incorporated the sounds into their music while still keeping the paramore feel. And with After Laughter, you can really see that it was heavily inspired by the 80s and you could see how much they loved that vibe, especially Hayley. It’s still great music and their new sound makes them happy. Just because that don’t do the same sound they did in the mid 2000s doesn’t mean that they’re any less of a band or musicians. It’s tiring creating the same thing for a long time. It brings you, your creativity, and your motivation down.

Coming back to watch this. I listened to this song on repeat after my friend died in High School. I was at the lowest of my life. Living in a broken home, suffering the misery of high school & navigating life without a best friend. The only thing that could get me out of my misery was thinking about my future & listening to this song. It never fails to bring me to tears. I remember thinking that some day I could possibly be happy. When she sings “just think of the future. And think of your dreams.” That line really got me… because honestly my only dream was to survive a day without crying & only hoping to be happy one day. Fast forward 10 years, I live a life now where I’m 99% happy at all times. It’s crazy…. I don’t know how I did it. But then I find this song, & I remember. This performance is absolutely insane & thank you for capturing this.

I don't consider myself a huge Paramore fan. Their only album that I've really been listening to profoundly is the self-titled (which, btw, is one of my all time favs), and I haven't gotten into their older stuff yet apart from a few songs. But this. I've loved _Future_ from the first time I heard it. The lyrics, the lo-fi start, and the... you know, the switch. It means a lot to me. But this performance. I don't know much about the band's history, I don't know why they had to say goodbye to a member or how it all went down, but it's evident from the video, and especially the music that they put everything into this perfomance that day. It's the most incredible live performance I've ever seen. I like a lot of music, a lot of bands, but this is something else.

everytime i feel unsure about the future or the present, i always watch this live. the way hayley brings herself in this stage was ethereal and amazing. she will always be my number one inspiration and my role model in life.

Yeah That's how you had it, yeah Pretty sure It is, it goes clapping a bit Something just in that way Alright, here we go Gonna go an octave down this time [Verse 1] I'm writing the future I'm writing it out, loud We don't talk about the past We don't talk about the past now So, I'm writing the future I'm leaving a key here Something won't always be missing You won't always feel empty, here [Break] Ah-ah, mm-mm Ah-ah-ah-ah, mm-mm [Verse 2] Just think of the future And think of your dreams You'll get away from here You'll get away eventually So, just think of the future Think of a new life And don't get lost in the memories Keep your eyes on a new prize [Outro] Ah-ah-ah, ah-ah Ah-ah-ah, ah-ah Mm

I was supposed to see them live in ATL when this album came out and they went on tour. I had the tickets and everything but when the time came i didn't have the money to make it out of town to get there. I was so heartbroken...this song holds a special place in my heart. I just put my ear buds in and put the volume at it's highest, close my eyes and drift off.

the fact that the stars aligned to create humanity, to create me, in this time, in this place, to be where i am now, knowing of this video’s existence... insane. and i’m incredibly grateful for it.
