Thanks for this post. I wonder if you can answer a question I have. Years ago, I owned a Sea Ranger Arima, 19 feet--and loved the safety, ease of towing, little HP to push her, easy to tow and launch. But the downside--and I don't know if it is the same downside for a C Dory, is that in wind or any heavy sea, she would not make good forward progress. It was a trade-off I accepted, but wondered if this fine boat had the same problem? Any help would be appreciated because I am looking at a C Dory now.
