19 Culpepper Renovation Stop Motion No CC | The Sims 4
This is a renovation of 19 Culpepper in San Myshuno. I ended up making a few changes in the upload due to the roaches that spawn in the apartment, everything is sorted now. Did you know if you have MC Command Center or Twisted Mexi's Destroy Objects mod you can shift click on the mouse holes, the water pipe, the electrical box, bad smells and the roaches & destroy them? (Warning: this is permanent in the save you are using except for the roaches (and maybe the smells), they will regenerate when you reload. Also note that if you do destroy these it will not upload to the gallery that way, whoever downloading will still have them if they didn't destroy them in their game.
This is a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment with balcony. To place bulldoze 19 Culpepper, enter the cheat bb.moveobjects line up and place room.
If you have the annoying bug where the lot will not line up with the apartment walls there are a couple of solutions:
1) If you have mods/cc make sure they are updated
2) Delete your localthumbcache.package file in your documents/Electronic Arts/Sims 4 folder (A new one will be recreated when the game is started)
3) Repair your game via Origin/EA App
It should place now, if not you will need to start a new save.
Solution #2
Place the apartment as a lot in another world and save each room to your library, place each room individually into the apartment.

Happy Sunday ! Little update to beginning title: The kitchen tiles were painted by Schokomuffin1985. Hate the mouse holes, drippy pipes, electrical box that keeps blowing a fuse, stinky smells & roaches in this apartment? If you play on PC you can delete them with MCCC or Twisted Mexi's destroy objects mod. More info in the description =)

@@joaniekeyser4036 Well, it's a little bit of a process. but you can move a sim in and delete EVERYTHING, even the walls. Don't pay your bills and the repo man will actually repo the mice holes .

Thanks so much, I appreciate the comment =) I use cinematic camera and TAB which is a game feature you can save cam points with ctrl and a number key 5-8 (I don't recommend using 9 ). I use a couple of different video editors, you can use any video editor, the end result is up to the editor's skills. Objects are all moved manually by various methods including TOOL mod.

Love the black on beige and black on light wood contrast! That looks very classy without swallowing all the light in the apartment! The bedrooms feel so cosy and alive, all the built-in custom furniture and the smart combinations of objects just blow my mind like every time, and your floor plan also works really well! I often find it hard to decorate the apartments myself, mostly because of the floor plans ... 😅 Your cute little story at the end reminded me to have my sims go out more. There's actually a lot you can do in this game, but the loading screens often keep me on the home lot. Having the family all over the neighbourhood is what I enjoyed most about The Sims 3. I hope The Sims 5 will introduce this "open neighbourhood" aspect again.

Thank you Alisa, totally agree about the apartment floor plans, hard to do with the windows sometimes - I refuse to make a bedroom without a window lol. I'm hoping in Sims 5 apartments will be way more customizable because I love playing in apartments. Such a shame that there are no apartments in Del Sol Valley, Windenburg and so on!

I have been watching for a long time and love your builds and stories and I have a question. You use a lot of black or neutrals in your builds and decor and I was wondering why. I'm not being critical - just curious. Is it so people can take the swatch tool and click around if they want color or is it a personal preference? Love your videos. You are so talented! 🥰

Thank you! Hmm, I don't feel like I use a lot of black at all - that's partly because it doesn't video so great, you'd have to point me to other builds where I used a lot of black, because I can't think of many off the top of my head. I probably use more neutrals because we don't have a color wheel and many of the colors are just too bright and oversaturated and hard to match especially in the base game, but I have several bright colorful builds as well. It's also a preference, I personally prefer softer colors, wood and Scandinavian color palettes.

@@Schnuck01 I should have written "often use" instead of a lot! The only house that comes to my mind right now is the Stop Motion House in the Burbs that has black in it. It may just be the black is what catches my eye and its only how I perceive things. I'm not here to pick apart your beautiful builds. You do have some colorful builds and did a beautiful sherbet apartment a couple of months ago. I had to Google Scandinavian color palette so I see what that is now. I really am a big fan and have a lot of your builds in my game. I love trailers and I think all of your trailers are in my current save! The color wheel was one of my favorite things in Sims 3 and I really miss it. When I want a monochrome outfit, its really hard to match the colors of the tops and bottoms. Even items from the same pack don't match! Thank you for the response, Schnuck. ❤

Thank you! Okay, I just tested this with a friend - so, since we were both able to place my apartment with no problem we tested with an apartment on the gallery by another creator that we both couldn't place, same issue with lining up and being off a row - so, first make sure if you have mods/cc they are up to date. We were both finally able to place the apartment we couldn't place after repairing our games and if you still can't place it you will be able to place it in a new save.
