Thanks! It's been a exhausting process at times, but the end results are proven the effort to be well worth it!

You have a lot of perennials growing right on top of others. Did you plant them at the same time? I’m usually coming in with the understory after the trees or taller plants are established. I like your way better. Scott

As I was working on the soil building, I began planting the initial canopy, along with annuals and a selection of faster growing bush & shrub layer. Do to the massive infestation levels of bugs, gophers, squirrels, rabbits, extreme weather, etc. the losses were extremely high. Now I lose a few to high winds & the occasional gopher or squirrel. Nothing like before. Now it is mostly theft of the produce, not the killing of the plants... Except bugs still with the annuals.

I’m glad to see other folks love mimosa trees. I use them for chop and drop. How do you use them? Thanks. The other Scott. 😂

They're great for a great growing canopy, chop & drop, as well as edible properties.
