I wish we got mud as a fluid. Density: 1.5 times denser than lava Properties: when players dip in it, their texture will be layered with it, and it will make players take less fire and freezing damage. Staying in water for 30 seconds in total will cause it to wash off. If pigs roll in it, they will become muddy pigs Tamed wolves love it. It can be carried with a bucket, but when introduced to hot biomes, it will dry up into Dried Mud. Dried mud can be used to make pots, for decoration. These pots can also be found in archeology sites.

There is another way of taking out the shriekers without breaking them… just surround it with wool so the signals can’t reach it anymore And there is another easy way of defeating the warden… just stack up 23 blocks and bow spam him He will recognize where the arrows come from and chill at the bottom of your tower but since 20 blocks is the max distance he can smell and he is 3 blocks he can’t do anything to you

@@silksongoutyet Sure, you die in 1 hit instead of 2. Big difference. But of course, anyone with an ounce of caution can avoid the warden incredibly easily. And even if someone triggers a shrieker 4 times (which, btw,, you can just leave after 3 shrieks and then come back 30 minutes later), they can still easily escape the warden with a ton of different methods.

My life hack in the ancient city is stacks of wool. Placing and breaking it doesn't set off sensors (unless you drop the block as an item), and so long as you slap some wool around each chest before you open it, bingo, all the loot and no warden headache.

I don't think light level effects Warden spawning. It just needs an unobstructed full-height block (glass and slime both definitely work) and 1x3x1 space. Lanterns can probably block it, but by obstruction not light... So you'd need to cover the 11x11 area with them.

Me and my 3 friends summoned 4 wardens not on purpose in an ancient city yesterday 😭 MC was like a horror game. 3 of us were in full prot 4 netherite and had maxed swords. Thankfully the ancient city had a shit ton of regen 2 potions. I had to kill a warden on my own it’s very hard and the drops aren’t worth it 😭

I survived the Deep Dark pretty effectively by placing wool on every side of the shriekers, like you would torches on a spawner. The warden was only summoned twice, and both times I survived by digging a hole in the ground then plugging it up with wool and waiting for the warden to despawn. The Deep Dark isn’t so bad when you get used to it.

I used the same method after seeing it on Reddit. I walk around normally with 2 stacks of wool in my hotbar and break all the skulk sensors with a silk touch hoe. Crouch and go towards the shriekers place wool on all the sides and top then walk normally and break all the sensors. It works pretty well and I didn't summon the warden even once in my world but accidentally set the shrieker off twice because I couldn't see it. The loot I got was absolutely trash though that's just bad RNG

@@Bababoogeyman456 Damn, sorry to hear that. I was super lucky and found a huge city that took hours to loot, and I walked out with 3 shulker boxes of it. It was mostly potions, enchanted books and armor/hoes that took up so much space, but I found a ton of really cool stuff. Though it was terrifying being in that hole and hearing the warden stumble around whining and groaning without being able to see it. Once I heard it boom and thought for sure it had found me but it must’ve been a bat or something. Scary but worth it!

Best thing I got was otherside disc and with the rest of the skulk shards and the deep dark disc fragments I completed my disc collection. And got a lot of enchanted hoes and leggings but I am like VERY rich not to brag so that didn't matter to me. Maybe my next one will have better loot?

To be honest, I’m a bit disappointed at the Sculk Shrieker. As awesome as the deep dark biome is, it’s sad that the sculk shrieker is technically useless outside the deep dark biome. I mean, my first expectation or excitement for the use of Sculk catalysts was that it was a spreading evil which could potentially though slowly take over the whole over world with darkness and spawn Wardens against any who threaten the darkness. Even more basic, how cool seriously it would have been to make an actual Sculk defense system all around your base with shriekers every 5 blocks around with a red stone wool bridge to protect you or your friends but deactivated for intrusion. Meaning you could have Wardens protect you as your ally! Soo freaking cool, and to easily prevent them from using sonic boom on you, just simply make the base 50 blocks high or low like a tower so you can be like a freaking evil mastermind observing your very own Warden henchmen destroy all your foes! Seriously, Mojang should change it so shriekers have a more multi-functional use

Gotta give the props for mojang. They may have delayed the underdark, but boy did they deliver. The cities may be rare, but I found 2 already and I can say that because they're so huge, even if you only find one you'll still get a ton of loot (1 city alone gave me 2 discs, some shards and more than enough echo shards for the new compass, as well as swift sneak 2 books). The one thing I simultaneously love and hate is the warden. I play on mobile and I'm just a casual player. But boy was it still freaky when it first popped up. And then the part I hated: the warden. They nailed everything about it. It's scary, it's lethal and the darkness effect leaves you completely lost trying to flee from it. Problem: wardens are summoned if enough shrieker activations happen as far as I understand, and the **** *** ************** hordes of hostile mobs have exactly ZERO qualms on setting said shriekers off. Also: the warden is a goddam bloodhound who could almost beeline me down even after I flew to the other half of the city, and it's ranged attack and blindness means running away is very very hard. Was pretty creepy the first 2 times, insufferable the rest, and I'm someone who is definitely far from a great pvp master playing on mobile against something that's both not worth killing, that feels like the Shazam of screw you (temper of a cassowary, tracking skills of an elephant, strength of a grizzly that was fed horse anabolics and the speed of a goddam cheetah) and that I am yet to succeed at escaping without literally getting out of the underdark. Love the cities, love the warden. That said screw it and screw how all the hostile mobs seem to be actively trying to summon it, I just wanted some swift sneak 3 books for my leggings and I hope the blindness effect remover comes to PE soon.

That's actually a bug. No mobs (other than Wardens) are supposed to be able to spawn in the Deep Dark.

Heads up: mobs actually can’t activate the shriekers/warden. It is tied to the player. Though if you fight the mob, you can definitely activate the shrieker:warden.

The frog lays tadpoles in the nearest water. Follow the frogs and you should see the frogspawn show up. Then scoop up the tadpoles up with a bucket after they hatch from the frogspawn. It’s most similar to turtle breeding

Any tips on finding a fortress? I've finally got a save going that I'm deep into, made several redstone builds, auto farmers, and sorters. But I cannot find a fortress in the nether so my progression is stalling. I've even set up portals 2000+ blocks from my overworld base in all directions without any luck in the nether. One of them did take me directly to the Magma Cube spawner bastion though, but no fortress. I'm close to restarting but I really don't want to lose my world. I even got the tourist achievement from searching everywhere :/

I haven’t tested this but if the Warden Is attracted to sound maybe make a noise machine with doors and pistons connected to a red stone loop where you can run by and place a redstone component to activate it if you are being chased. It would have to be made in advance though.

It would be cool if you could create deep dark portal out of certain blocks and then place like 4 sensors around it and then you could spawn in a warden to wherever you are and use it as a weapon to fight bosses and any noisy mobs or you place the portal on the floor like an end portal and then after the warden has spawned the through it, it becomes a super deep hole beneath it, as if the warden has burrowed up through the portal. I think that would be cool. And if there’s no point in fighting a warden it would be cool to be able to use it differently.

yes....check under large mountains. They spawn in areas that have little "erosion of the land" meaning the larger the mountain the less wind and water has eroded the land meaning cities will spawn. "wind swept" biomes are the worst.

Just watching the bit about Shreaker's (around 7 minutes) and noticed that not only is the national Shrieker brighter then the placed one, it also spins clockwise while the one you just placed is spinning anti clockwise. If they always spin in those directions it's so much easier to spot then relying on how bright it is or how fast it's moving👍👍👍👍👍

If your on bedrock edition you may have a harder time mending tools my solution is to use sculk blocks they always hold xp just use a beacon if your looking to mend the any tools and mine some of the sculk
