Thanks for sharing the hunt. That’s an awesome place. Those egrets were sure wanting to share your blind at the beginning lol.

Yes, I think they are low enough. Hehehe, and when cranes are not hunted they are STUPID. I do not see them looping 10 yards from the blind in Sask. Nice video and fun hunt.

Thanks man. Yeah my depth perception is off and depending on who I’m hunting with low enough can mean very different things haha.

CWA Staten Island? I’ll be going next weekend. If so, do you mind sharing which blind this is?

4, I have no issue spot burning a limited entry, non-scoutable hunt area. All the blinds did fairly well I think, but 3 was especially good. The hunt coordinator will have all of the results from all of the blinds and will share out if asked before check-in. Congrats on winning the hunt! That’s a truly special place and one of my favorites every year. I was lucky enough to go three times last year.

@@duckchugger awesome, that is what I figured lol. Thank you for the info, I really appreciate it! If you’re ever hunting in the southern part of the Central Valley, hit me up. I primarily hunt kern. I’m super excited. Looks like an awesome area! I have a few more questions if you don’t mind. If not, no biggie on replying! Just trying to get an idea of what to expect. I know we’ll primarily be targeting geese, but curious if it’s even worth bringing/setting up duck decoys? I have mostly silhouette decoys for geese. Did they possibly provide any additional full body geese decoys? Bring a decoy cart/wagon?
